Tuesday Greyhound Tips: Three to watch from Towcester

Our Greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle), has turned to Towcester for all three of his Tuesday selections.

1 pt 19:49 Towcester – Sovereign Tifosi (T3) @ SP

Three from Towcester this evening on a competitive graded card with action over two, four and six-bend distances. At 19:49 look out for SOVEREIGN TIFOSI, who lines up from T3 in the two-bend D1 graded sprint over the 270-metre trip.

The Jak Knape-trained railer moved over from Ireland at the back end of 2025 and hit Towcester in top form with three wins from seven races. Sovereign Tifosi was a non-runner last week, so returns to action this evening following a three-week layoff.

That shouldn’t be an issue and, with a smart exit from the boxes, the April 2024 daughter of Dromana Bucko can lead round and make all. Trapstyle Spud (T4) has a three from nine record in the grade and rates as the main danger. Cragbrien Fire (T6) is worth noting in the market on what will be only his second run at Towcester following a move from Galway.

1 pt 20:24 Towcester – Salacres Cath (T1) @ SP

The A5 graded race at 20:24 over the four-bend 500-metre trip can go to the Peter Harnden-trained railer SALACRES CATH in T1.

The June 2022 daughter of Ballymac Cashout is three from five in the grade and looks well-drawn to follow the pace this evening and swoop off the final bend. Salacres Cath is strong over the trip, this is all about avoiding a serious bump and making a move down the back straight.

If Cath is within striking distance off the final bend, she can rail inside her rivals and power clear late on. Greencroft Jenja (T2) will attempt to make all and would be a danger to all if allowed a soft lead. Debutant Fabulous Verve (T3) is worth noting in the market on her first competitive run. The 29.95 course and distance trial reads well and, with further improvement likely from the November 2024 youngster, she's one to keep an eye on in the coming weeks.

1 pt 21:16 Towcester – All About Rosie (T5) @ SP

The third and final selection from Towcester this evening is ALL ABOUT ROSIE, who lines up from T5 in the A3 graded race at 21:16.

Don’t expect to see Rosie up with the pace, she’s likely to turn last, but she will be making her move around the third bend cutting through the pack looking to pounce late on and claim another in the grade and add to her impressive seven from eighteen record in A3 company. Salacres Boris (T1) and Salacres Machine (T2) look the likely leaders, and they can set the race up for Rosie.

Givemethemoney (T6) drops into A3 company this evening following open race action at Monmore, Sheffield, Hove and Oxford in recent weeks. The wide seed will appreciate this ease in company and could go well at a price. The Darryl Porter-trained railer Roomies Girl (T3) could get first crack at the leaders and would be a danger to all if he skips a couple clear at the third bend.
