1 pt 20:53 Romford – Gav Nificent (T5) @ SP
All eyes on Romford this evening with twelve open races taking place at the London Road venue. At 20:53 look out for GAV NIFICENT, who lines up from T5 in the JR Racing Puppy Cup final over the four-bend 400-metre trip. The Paul Young-trained September 2024 son of Droopys Addition bolted up in the heats of this competition with a quick-away-made-all success in 23.71 following a smart 3.67 sectional.
Last week, Gav Nificent was drawn in T2. Tonight, from a wider draw, he will need a flyer to clear those drawn on his inside but with a ping break he has enough early pace to do just that and land this Category Two competition. Central Park raider King Floyd (T1) can chase the selection home and fill the forecast spot. Headford Sirl (T6) looks well-drawn as the solo wide seed in the race and could attract support if priced up at fancy odds this evening.

1 pt 21:33 Romford – Tally Ho Socks (T1) @ SP
The Greyhoundhominguk.com Standard open race at 21:33 can go to the Paul Burr-trained railer TALLY HO SOCKS in T1. Last week, over course and distance, the January 2023 son of Ballymac Cashout caught the eye staying on well and flying to the pickup when chasing home Mahoonagh Hoffa who runs from T2 this evening. Hoffa looks the likely leader but will be vulnerable off the final bend and if Tally Ho Socks turns handy and avoids a bump he can pounce late on and take this race.
Solo wide seed Mickys Tribute has mixed it over hurdles and sprint opens in recent weeks and bumped into class act Shadow Storm at Dunstall Park last Saturday. This is much calmer waters and the Ricky Holloway-trained performer rates as a danger from T6. Stradeen Spirit (T3) is a consistent runner around Romford and could be worth including in forecast bets.

1 pt 21:53 Romford – Inca Lewie (T4) @ SP
Next up at Romford is INCA LEWIE who runs from T4 in the Greyhounds Make Great Pets Stayers Open race over the six-bend 575-metre trip at Romford. Lewie is a class act when he gets it right at the boxes, as he showed with a blistering 35.27 win over course and distance last week following a flashy 13.49 sectional. The May 2023 son of Grangeview Ten is a credit to trainer Nathan Hunt and his connections with top class runs on his card against the likes of New Destiny, Romeo Alliance, Tiffield Tarquin and kennelmate Zebedee Cluasa.
Tonight, it's all eyes on the break. If the Monmore raider pops out and leads round, this should be all over bar the shouting for those that have taken the likely short odds against the middle seed. Bacon Frazzles (T3) is a consistent performer over this course and distance and is always worth a second look in the market. Razldazl Royco (T6) makes his Romford six-bend debut this evening and would be a danger to all with a ping break.
