Wednesday Greyhounds Tips: A trio of delights from Dunstall Park

Our resident greyhound tipster, Michael Smyth (@bettingjungle) has scoured the card at Dunstall Park to bring you three top picks from today's racing.

Today's Greyhound odds

1 pt 18:59 Dunstall Park – Hillend Julie (T3) @ SP

Three from Dunstall Park this evening on an ultra-competitive card featuring action over two and four-bend distances at the Wolverhampton venue. At 18:59 look out for the Ross Williams-trained pup HILLEND JULIE, who lines up from T3. The July 2024 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet caught the eye on four-bend debut last week when finishing second after attempting to make all over this 480-metre trip.

That run would have strengthened the youngster, and she can take a step forward on that 29.78 clock and make all this evening. The key to the race, as ever, will be the break and run into the corner, trap well and its race on. Kennelmate Listen Angie from T2 rates as the main danger. A previous winner in 29.79 Angie would be a huge runner if she turned within striking distance.

1 pt 19:16 Dunstall Park – Skinnylittlemiss (T6) @ SP

The D2 graded race at 19:16 over the two-bend 270-metre sprint trip can go to well-drawn wide seed SKINNYLITTLEMISS from T6. The Simon Deakin-trained September 2022 daughter of Ballymac Best is five from fifteen in this grade and with a ping break she can add to that impressive strike rate. All eyes on the break here, it's imperative that Skinnylittlemiss pops out and clears the pace on her inside.

On the bunny, she's a 16.10 type of performer, a repeat of that should see her take this. Headford Jake (T1) has run four times in recent weeks following a move from Perry Barr. Those runs would have blown away the cobwebs and the railer should be hitting peak fitness and is worth noting in the market. Seattle Sonic (T2) is two from four in the grade and would be a danger to all with a ping break.

1 pt 20:59 Dunstall Park – Dixie Again (T1) @ SP

Next up at Dunstall Park is DIXIE AGAIN, who runs from T1 in the A4 graded race at 20:59 over the four-bend 480-metre trip. Headford Killian will attempt to make all from T4 but will be vulnerable late on. Dixie Again is strong over this trip. If he pops out and holds his rails pitch into the first bend, he can track the pace and make his move off the final bend and swoop to victory.

Flush Seskin (T2) is returning from a spell off the track lame, she was a solid A3 performer at the start of the calendar year and would be a danger to all if anywhere near race fit. Mercia Darkhorse (T3) is a pup going through the grades nicely. He’s another who will be flying home looking to pick up the pieces late on. In a very competitive race, Shes Got Style (T5) is in with a live chance and can’t be ruled out.
