Friday Greyhound Tips: All aboard for a Harlow trio

1 pt 18:46 Harlow – Miss Margaret (T6) @ SP

All eyes on Harlow this evening with eleven races taking place over the two and four-bend distances at the Essex venue. At 18:46 in the A7 graded race over the four-bend 415 metre trip, MISS MARGARET appeals from T6. The December 2023 daughter of Grangeview Ten is very lightly raced at Harlow with just three runs on her card since moving across the Irish Sea from Newbridge. Miss Margaret bolted up over course and distance last time out, clocking 27.38 following a smart 4.86, a repeat of that would make her hard to beat this evening and, with further improvement likely, she looks a solid bet.

As ever, the key to the race will be the break and run into the first corner, trap well and its race on for this well-drawn wide seed. Tinks That (T4) is worth noting in the market. The June 2024 youngster caught the eye in defeat last time out when beaten in a photo finish. Tinks That rates as the main danger and could be the one to chase home the selection and fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 19:24 Harlow – Ballydaniel Dan (T4) @ SP

The D4 graded race at 19:24 over the two-bend 238-metre trip can go to lightly raced July 2024 youngster BALLYDANIEL DAN from T4. Last time out on four-bend debut, Dan checked at the sough and lost all chance following a promising start. Tonight, the son of Glencorbry Pat drops back down to the sprint trip and will be looking to repeat his win from January 23, when bolting up by over six lengths in 15.67. All eyes on the boxes.

If Dan traps well, he can lead round and make all. Johns Marvel (T5) is a consistent performer in this grade with a six from twenty-eight record. He can chase home the selection and could be worth including in forecast bets. Winehouse Dream (T1) is better known as a four-bend performer and is likely to stay on well on her return to two-bend action. She’s another that could be worth including in forecast bets if sent off at fancy prices.

1 pt 20:34 Harlow – Rathbally Elsa (T3) @ SP

The third and final selection from Harlow this evening is well-drawn middle seed RATHBALLY ELSA who runs from T3 in the A7 graded race at 20:34. In a race lacking early pace, Elsa looks well-drawn to lead rails to middle. If that happens, the lightly raced daughter of Ballymac Bolger can kick for home and prove hard to peg back. Orange Declan (T6) is worth noting in the market on just his fourth run at Harlow since moving from Romford.

The money is shrewd at Harlow and major support would be a huge hint that a big run is expected from the wide seed. Sister Peg (T1) is another open to improvement. Although approaching two-and-a-half years old, the railer has only run eight times and is yet to break her maiden tag, could tonight be the night?
