Today's Greyhound Odds

1 pt 18:46 Star Pelaw – Blackstone Dani (T6) @ SP

All eyes on Star Pelaw this evening with ten graded races taking place at the north-east venue. At 18:46 look out for well-drawn wide seed BLACKSTONE DANI, who lines up from T6 in the D1 graded sprint over the two-bend 245-metre trip. The Colin Dibb-trained September 2022 daughter of Droopys Sydney bolted up last time out, winning an open race in 14.63.

Tonight, Dani drops back into graded company and looks plotted up as the solo wide seed in the race to follow up that impressive success. As ever over this distance, it's all on the break. Trap in best fashion and this could be all over bar the shouting. Darbys Faye (T1) and Mags Star (T2) both rate as danger and can battle it out to fill the forecast spot behind the selection.

1 pt 19:04 Star Pelaw – Tickity Tilly (T1) @ SP

The A4 graded race at 19:04 over the four-bend 435-metre trip can go to well-drawn railer TICKITY TILLY from T1. The Samantha Atkinson-trained March 2021 daughter of Malachi caught the eye last time out, staying on in taking fashion over course and distance. Tonight, in a race lacking early pace rails to middle Tilly has a chance to turn on the tail of the leaders.

If that happens, it's race on down the back straight. Mary Gee (T4) bolted up last time out on what was only her second ever run. The June 2024 pup rates as a huge danger, especially if she brings her trapping boots. Tromora Whisper (T5) and Cream Biscuit (T6) can both ping the lids and could be the pace in the race into the first bend.

1 pt 20:34 Star Pelaw – Hexel Mason (T1) @ SP

The third and final selection from Star Pelaw this evening is the Robert McCarthy-trained railer HEXEL MASON who runs from T1 in the A5 graded race at 20:34. The key to this race is the break and run into the first bend. If Hexel Mason holds the rails and turns handy, it's race on. In recent weeks, Hexel Mason has proven very consistent on the clock with 26.42 and 26.37 runs over course and distance.

A repeat of those sorts of times would put her bang there at the finish. Glenbowen Mabel (T4) won last time out with a quick-away-made-all success in 26.59. The January 2024 daughter of Grangeview Ten would be a huge runner here if she leads round again. Inclement Magic (T6) is a pacey wide seed. Back on February 15, the October 2023 daughter of Ballyhimikin Jet won but waited near the line and has since had to run in a re-qualifying trial. The trial was recorded at 26.45. If her mind is fully on the job, she would be a huge runner in this race.
