1 pt 19:24 Suffolk Downs – Westfield Forno (T2) @ SP

Three selections from Suffolk Downs this evening on an ultra-competitive graded card with action over two, four and six-bend distances. At 19:24 look out for WESTFIELD FORNO who lines up from T2 in the S3 graded race over the 548-metre trip at the Mildenhall venue. Last time out over this course and distance, Westfield Forno trapped well, turned handy and hit the front at the fourth bend and went onto record an impressive victory in 34.59.

Tonight, in a race lacking early pace, Westfield Forno has a chance to lead round. If that happens, she will prove very hard to beat. Colrose Queen (T1) is an interesting runner on six-bend debut. The former Drumbo Park and Lifford-based greyhound caught the eye staying on well over the 388-metre trip last week and would be a huge runner this evening granted a clear run. Noteworthy (T4) has plenty of form over this trip and would be a danger to all with a ping break.

1 pt 20:34 Suffolk Downs – Savana Lava (T2) @ SP

The D4 graded race at 20:34 over the two-bend 220-metre trip can go to well-drawn railer SAVANA LAVA in T2. The Jason Ray-trained June 2023 daughter of Droopys Jet is going for three on the bounce this evening following 14.34 and 14.32 wins over course and distance in recent weeks. As ever, the key to this sprint race will be the break and run into the corner. Trap well and its race on.

Well-drawn solo wide seed Savana Eros (T6) has a four from sixteen record in the grade and is worth noting in the market. Kennelmate to the selection, Savana Eros, will be looking to ping out, lead round and take advantage of this plot draw. Savana Nipper (T4), also from the Jason Ray kennel, was narrowly beaten last time out by Savana Eros when sent off as the 4/9 favourite. She will be looking for revenge this evening and is in with a live chance in what looks like a very competitive graded race.

1 pt 20:52 Suffolk Downs – Rapido Ramona (T2) @ SP

The third and final selection from Suffolk Downs this evening is RAPIDO RAMONA, who runs from T2 in the A8 graded race at 20:52 over the four-bend 388-metre trip. The Peter Manley-trained railer looks very well-drawn here with a vacant box in T1 and Maeda in T3 very slow away. If Rapido Ramona pops out in best fashion, she can turn with the pace and hit the front by the third bend. The likely leader is Hollyhill Jimmy from T5.

The consistent July 2022 son of Burgess Bucks is often there or thereabouts at the finish but has only won one in seventeen over course and distance, so preference is for Ramona in T2. Gordons Bennett could attract support from T6. The solo wide seed won by the shortest of short heads last time out and will be looking to follow up that success this evening.
