1 pt 18:29 Star Pelaw – Knackstar (T2) @ SP
Two from two plus a non-runner at Doncaster yesterday with Rapido Ana and Redbrick Rose both winning. Today, we head to Star Pelaw with a trio of Glenn Foot-trained T2 selections. At 18:29 in the A6 graded race over the four-bend 435-metre trip, KNACKSTAR looks well-drawn in T2 to lead round and make all. The Glenn Foot-trained class dropper was mixing it in A3 in early January, and has since run in A4, A5 and now drops into A6 company for the first time since November.
The last time Knackstar lined up in this company, she led round and made all in 26.09 following a smart 5.53 sectional, a repeat of that would see her bolt up this evening. The key to the race is clearing Oceans Blue (T1) at lid rise, do that and its race on. Hello Me Man (T4) will be staying on well and can fill the forecast spot.

1 pt 19:04 Star Pelaw – Belle Midnight (T2) @ SP
The A8 graded race at 19:04 can also go to a T2 runner, with BELLE MIDNIGHT looking a solid bet to break her maiden tag on just her second run. On debut, the middle seed showed plenty of pace when finishing second and, with further improvement likely Belle Midnight will prove hard to beat this evening.
Belle is likely to edge off from T2. Last week she was in T4 and kept middle, but with a smart exit from the boxes, the June 2024 daughter of Orchestrate can avoid a bump and hit the back straight on the bunny. Dipton Spottie (T4) is three from ten in the grade and rates as the danger. She recently returned to action following a four-month layoff and two runs over course and distance would have blown away the cobwebs, and she should be fully fit and ready to go close.

1 pt 19:58 Star Pelaw – Mags Star (T2) @ SP
The third and final selection from Star Pelaw this evening is early-paced railer MAGS STAR who lines up from T2 in the D2 graded race at 19:58 over the two-bend 245-metre trip. The Glenn Foot-trained daughter of Droopys Sydney was off the track from mid-November until mid-January and returned to action in winning ways with a quick-away-made-all success over course and distance, clocking 15.08.
Next time out she met early trouble, and a line can be put through that run. Tonight, if Mags Star brings her trapping boots, she can ping out and make all and dip below the 15-second barrier over this distance. Space Captain (T4) bolted up last time out and clocking 14.79. He would be a huge runner granted a clear run. Crafty San Siro (T6) chased home Space Captain last time out and will be looking to reverse that form this evening.
