Wycombe vs Bristol Rovers Prediction: Gas 11/4 for a cheeky half at Wycombe

League One high-fliers Wycombe Wanderers welcome struggling Bristol Rovers to Adams Park for a clash which is live on Sky Sports+ on Tuesday (19.45).
Wycombe are suddenly finding wins hard to come by but they have beaten Rovers once this season already and will fancy they can repeat the feat on home soil.
Wycombe vs Bristol Rovers Betting Tips
Team news
New signing from Hull, Xavi Simons, is pushing for a first Wycombe start, while Wales international striker Sam Vokes, who has yet to start a league game during an injury-plagued campaign, could also come in.
Right-backs Jasper Pattenden and Jack Grimmer are out, so Declan Skura should keep his place.
Veteran Chris Martin will have to lead the Rovers' line again with record signing Promise Omochere and Gatlin O'Donkor both absent.
Match odds, Wycombe vs Bristol Rovers
Wycombe are rock-solid 2/5 shots to make it seven straight league wins against an improving Rovers outfit, who are 15/2 outsiders.
In the battle of the veteran international strikers you can have 11/8 Wales' old hand Vokes scores at any time and 100/30 former Scotland frontman Martin does likewise.
Bristol Rovers to win either half @ 11/4
Bristol Rovers were in serious relegation danger when ex-Brighton star Inigo Calderon replaced Matt Taylor at the turn of the year.
But the Spaniard has overseen a visible improvement in the Gas, even more impressive given the absence of record signing and top scorer Promise Omochere, and 13 points from the last seven matches have hauled them clear of trouble.
It's a run that has included wins over Barnsley and Peterborough plus an excellent 1-1 draw with Stockport and it's true, nearly all of their best work is done at home.
But Calderon's messaging is getting through and they look overpriced to end a six-game winless run at Wycombe, where they can at least land a blow or two, even winning either half, which is an 11/4 chance.
The Chairboys are still second but there have been slips since Matt Bloomfield departed for Luton with a failure to win six of their last nine in all competitions.
Blackpool, Barnsley and Cambridge have all won a half against Wanderers since the turn of the year, so why can't Rovers?

Shaq Forde last scorer @ 16/1
Rovers are missing firepower without Omochere and Gatlin O'Donkor and it's unclear whether 36-year-old Martin can manage a third start in seven days.
Shaq Forde is fit and pressing the Scot for a starting place, or at the very least can expect to appear off the bench.
The 22-year-old bagged nine goals for Leyton Orient last season, but has only mustered two in a stop-start campaign in Bristol.
This could be his chance and against tiring legs Forde's pace could be a weapon and the former Watford youngster can give us a run at 16/1 in last-scorer betting.
