The Women’s European Championship has reached the quarter-final stage with eight teams now left vying for glory. Defending champions England are still involved as they prepare for their Sweden clash on Thursday night, but they aren’t the favourites to retain their crown.

Below you can find the latest Women's Euro 2025 Odds as we assess the potential champions.

Spain @ 4/5

The world champions are the clear favourites to win this tournament, and you can see why. There’s little doubt that they are the best team in the world right now and they smashed their group with three wins out of three, scoring 14 goals in those comprehensive victories.

Italy, Belgium and Portugal were unable to deal with the attacking strength of this side which features stars such as Maria Caldentey, Alexia Putellas and Claudia Pina. They’ve been handed a relatively kind quarter-final draw as they face Switzerland on Friday night, while France or Germany await in what could be a blockbuster semi-final.

Having narrowly beaten England in the World Cup final in 2023, they will fancy their chances of going all the way in Switzerland.

England @ 4/1

The Lionesses had to settle for the runners-up spot in their group after they lost their opening game to France, but they responded in style with convincing wins over the Netherlands and Wales.

Sarina Wiegman knows how to navigate tournament football having won the last two editions of this competition with England and the Netherlands respectively, so reaching the final has to be the primary objective for the Lionesses, with Spain fortunately on the other side of the draw.

A quarter-final test against an impressive Sweden outfit will challenge them, but if they make it through, they should be able to beat either Italy or Norway in the final four. In the final, they’ve love to exact revenge on the Spanish, but it’s going to be a big ask if they get that far. Plenty of work to do before then.

France @ 5/1

They’ve already beaten England this summer, won three from three in their group and scored 11 goals along the way, so who is to say this new-look France team can’t go all the way? Laurent Bonadei made some big decisions heading into this tournament by leaving out Wendie Renard and leading scorer Eugenie Le Sommer, as he looked to reinvent a stagnant team.

You have to say his gamble has worked so far and they are a massive threat, although they’ve been placed in the tough half of the draw. They face Germany in the quarter-finals, and if they win that, Spain surely await in the semis. They say you have to beat the best to be the best however, and if France are in the Euros finals after this run, they will surely be favourites to lift the trophy. An exciting team to keep your eye on for sure.

Germany @ 10/1

Germany have flattered to deceive so far in Switzerland and they had to settle for second place in the group after being hammered 4-1 by Sweden in their final group game. They went down to 10 after half an hour which certainly impacted the result, but I just don’t believe they have what it takes to go all the way, especially given they will have to beat France and Spain to reach the final.

Captain Giulia Gwinn is a massive loss after picking up a tournament-ending injury against Poland and while Lea Schuller can score goals, I’m not sure it will be enough to take them to the final.

Sweden @ 10/1

Sweden are, in my humble opinion, the best value team on this list. They have a real chance of making the final and head into their quarter-final with England as slight underdogs, but that may be unfair based on what we have seen so far. Three wins from three in their group, including that win over Germany has put them on the ‘good’ side of the draw and if they can put the pressure on England they can beat them.

I’d back them to win a semi-final against Norway or Italy as well, given they have beaten both in 2025 already. Talking of which, they have now won their last six matches and haven’t lost this calendar year, so England face a massive test in the last eight. I think Sweden could reach the final and cause a shock when they get there.

Italy @ 33/1

Italy and Norway are up next, as outsiders that meet in the first quarter-final on Wednesday night. Italy lost against Spain but progressed with a draw and a win in their other two matches, but I don’t think they stand much hope of winning it.

They’ve already lost heavily to England this year (5-1), and Spain have beaten them twice, so it does feel like a semi-final appearance is as far as they can go. I wouldn’t even confidently back them to beat Norway…

Norway @ 40/1

Norway won a weak Group A with three wins from three and they edged past Iceland 4-3 in a thriller last time out. All three of their victories have come by one goal, and despite having the likes of Frida Maanum in their midfield, it’s difficult to see them going further than the final four.

Switzerland @ 80/1

If Switzerland beat Spain it will go down as one of the biggest international shocks of all time. They progressed from their group with four points and drew with Iceland to make it through, but it feels like they will be on the end of a big defeat in the last eight.
