Wolves vs Brighton Prediction: Albion can add to Wolves’ woes

Wolves managed to end their losing streak last time out as they claimed their first point of the season in a 1-1 draw with Tottenham - but they may struggle to back that up with a positive result against Brighton on Sunday (14:00, live on Sky Sports Mix).
Read on for our Wolves vs Brighton predictions, complete with the latest match odds and team news.
Wolves vs Brighton Betting Tips
*odds correct at time of publication
Wolves are rated as 11/4 underdogs to claim the points, Brighton can be backed at 1/1 and a draw is 13/5.
Wolves have scored in four consecutive home games and Brighton have found the net in their last four away assignments across all competitions so the 8/11 on offer for both teams to score appeals, while over 2.5 goals is priced at 4/5.
Team News
Leon Chiwome and Matt Doherty are missing for the hosts, while Toti Gomes has been suffering with an illness and is also expected to miss out.
Joel Veltman has joined Adam Webster, Solly March and Jack Hinshelwood on the sidelines for Brighton.
Danny Welbeck scored twice against Chelsea and Maxim De Cuyper was also on target at Stamford Bridge. Both players were introduced as substitutes in that game and are pushing for starts.
Brighton to win @ 1/1
Brighton’s league form has been mixed but they should take some confidence from their 3-1 win at Chelsea and they can follow that up with another three-point haul on Sunday.
Wolves stopped the rot against Spurs but they will likely have been disappointed with that point, as they conceded an injury-time equaliser in north London.
Wolves have managed EFL Cup wins at home this season against a pair of Premier League rivals but they were playing against rotated sides in those fixtures. Defeats at Molineux to direct rivals Everton and Leeds in the league look particularly concerning, and Brighton appear to be hitting their stride after a run of four wins in their last six games in all competitions.
Brighton have an excellent recent record against Wolves with five wins and no defeats in the last seven Premier League meetings between these two sides, and they look capable of picking up a victory against the division’s bottom club.

Yankuba Minteh to score anytime @ 12/5
Brighton forward Yankuba Minteh laid on an assist in the win at Chelsea last time out and at 12/5 he stands out as a slight outsider to grab a goal at Wolves.
The Gambian has managed just one goal in six Premier League appearances this season but he has scored two goals in his last four starts for club and country.
Minteh has either scored or assisted a goal in each of his last three league outings so he is a man in form and can help his side see off Wolves on Sunday.
