West Ham vs Crystal Palace Prediction: Eagles can trouble Hammers

Graham Potter won his opening Premier League game as West Ham manager, but Saturday’s clash with Crystal Palace could be trickier.
The Eagles are looking good of late and they’re unbeaten across their previous six league trips. Can they extend that record at the London Stadium? Below you can find my West Ham vs Crystal Palace predictions.
West Ham United vs Crystal Palace Betting Tips
Team news
West Ham have selection issues up front, with Michail Antonio, Jarrod Bowen and Niclas Fullkrug all ruled out. The Hammers are also without summer signing Jean-Clair Todibo.
Crystal Palace remain without Adam Wharton, while Jefferson Lerma is likely to miss out due to illness.
West Ham vs Crystal Palace Odds
There’s little between these two sides, as they’re each priced at 13/8 to win on Saturday, with the draw just behind at 5/2.
Goals are expected, with both teams to score at 4/7 and over 2.5 priced at 8/11.
Crystal Palace to win either half @ 4/5
A quick-fire double put West Ham 2-0 up against Fulham in midweek and the Cottagers struggled to overcome that deficit. However, the Hammers mustered just four shots in total to their opponents’ 21, while they gave ground in the second half.
The Hammers have won just three halves of football across their previous nine Premier League games. The others came in a 1-0 victory at Southampton and a 2-1 win over fellow strugglers Wolves.
The Hammers have lost at least one half in each of their previous four games. Across 11 Premier League home games, they’ve led at half-time twice, while they’ve won the second half on just three occasions.
The Eagles have edged a half in four of their last five Premier League trips, doing the same in their previous four matches across all competitions.
This clash is expected to be tight, so take Palace to win either half, with the Eagles fancied to shade this clash 1-0 at 9/1.
