Werder Bremen vs RB Leipzig Prediction: Visitors to win again

Bundesliga action beckons in midweek in the final round of fixtures before the winter break, one of which sees Werder Bremen take on RB Leipzig at Weserstadion on Tuesday evening (17:30).
The hosts fought to rescue a 2-2 draw at Borussia Monchengladbach on Friday evening, having gone ahead inside the opening 10 minutes. It was the third time this season in which Bremen had taken the lead but not come away with the victory, which further highlights their struggles this term as they languish in 14th.
RB Leipzig are having a productive campaign with Marco Rose's men placed nicely in third. They have won their last three games in the league and will be looking to extend that run to four on Tuesday.
We've picked out some of the best markets on offer in this top-flight battle.
Werder Bremen vs RB Leipzig Betting Tips
Match Odds
Given that they have only won four league games this term, Werder Bremen are 4/1 to collect a rare three points. A draw can be backed at 7/2. RB Leipzig are the clear favourites to win this game due to their form but also because of where both these sides are in the table. They are 4/7 to win this one.
Both teams to score in this encounter is valued at 1/2. Over 2.5 goals is 2/5.
Team News
The hosts are going to remain without duo Amos Pieper and Leon Opitz, who are sidelined with ankle problems. Nicolai Rapp is also unavailable for selection due to a foot issue.
After scoring the equaliser against Gladbach on Friday, Bremen forward Marvin Ducksch will be looking to find the back of the net for the third successive game when RB Leipzig come to town. The German attacker has scored seven times in the Bundesliga this term.
RB Leipzig's main absentees for this clash are Willi Orban and Dani Olmo, who are out with knee and shoulder injuries respectively.
Emil Forsberg could be set to make his final start for Die Roten Bullen before he completes his January switch to New York Red Bulls. The Sweden international came off the bench to score in their previous victory over Hoffenheim, and Rose could give him a good run-out so that he can say goodbye to the supporters.
Lois Openda to score first @ 10/3
Seeing as there is little value to be had in backing RB Leipzig to win, we have decided to delve into the goalscorer markets. Leipzig striker Lois Openda is having an excellent campaign in front of goal, with 10 goals in 15 league appearances.
He is the biggest goal threat in Rose's team at present and it seems like everything he touches turns to gold when he gets a sight of goal. However, the Belgian has not been on the scoresheet in Leipzig's last two league games, so it feels as though he is an overdue a goal when he takes to the pitch on Tuesday.
RB Leipzig to score in both halves @ EVS
This is another market that caught our attention. When you consider that Die Rotten Bullen have scored 47 goals across 21 games in the Bundesliga and Champions League this campaign, backing RB Leipzig to find the back of the net in both halves offers great value.
In eight games across both competitions, Leipzig have scored in both halves, and they will fancy their chances of doing so again in Bremen against one of the worst defensive sides in the division. Werder Bremen have leaked 29 goals in the Bundesliga this term and with the quality that RB Leipzig have in attacking areas, the hosts could be in for a long evening.
