There are some interesting battles in the Premier League coming our way this weekend which will have you thinking about what the best bets could be for these fixtures.

We've had a deep dive into the games to be played and selected a few of what we consider to be the best markets on offer to punters.

Weekend Premier League Tips

  • Ollie Watkins to score anytime in Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest - 6/5
  • Brighton and both teams to score in Brighton & Hove Albion vs Everton - 9/4
  • Both teams to score Yes in Arsenal vs Newcastle United - 4/6
  • Ivan Toney to score anytime in West Ham United vs Brentford - 23/20

Ollie Watkins to score anytime in Aston Villa vs Nottingham Forest - 6/5

Ollie Watkins was the star of the show for Aston Villa last time out as they bounced back from their defeat against Manchester United with a 2-1 victory at Fulham. Watkins netted a brace at Craven Cottage to take his tally for the season in the league up to 13, and he will be heading into the weekend with confidence restored.

The England international had blanked against the Red Devils despite having several good opportunities to score, but he now has scored four in his last four Premier League appearances which will be troubling for strugglers Nottingham Forest heading into the weekend.

Ollie Watkins to score anytime at 6/5

Brighton and both teams to score in Brighton & Hove Albion vs Everton - 9/4

After a comfortable 5-0 victory at Sheffield United last weekend, recording only their third clean sheet of the season, Brighton & Hove Albion will be hoping that this will spur them on for the rest of the campaign.

In the race for the top six, they find themselves six points adrift of Man United and will need to start finding consistency with their results if they are to qualify for the Europa League for the second year running.

They welcome strugglers Everton to the Amex Stadium this weekend. On paper they should have more than enough quality to record a second successive win, but it may not be as easy as last week's triumph over the Blades.

Everton were fortunate to salvage a point at home against Crystal Palace on Monday night as they had squandered most of the decent opportunities they could conjure, but there weren't a great deal of them.

Brighton's lack of clean sheets this season does suggest that the Toffees can get on the scoresheet in this one, but if the Seagulls' attackers are on-song, then that is all they can hope for in Sussex.

Brighton and both teams to score at 9/4

Both teams to score Yes in Arsenal vs Newcastle United - 4/6

This fixture last season delivered a dull 0-0 affair at the Emirates Stadium, and that is the last time Arsenal took part in a 0-0 draw. There has been a goal scored in every game they have played since.

BTTS has landed in Newcastle United's last seven matches in the Premier League, too, which bodes well for a much-needed improvement on last year's showing.

The Gunners head into the weekend having lost the first leg of their Champions League round of 16 clash with Porto, after conceding in injury time. Unlike their recent outings in the league, their attacking threat was non-existent, something which they will wish to address against the Magpies.

Both teams to score Yes at 4/6

Ivan Toney to score anytime in West Ham United vs Brentford - 23/20

Since returning from his eight-month long suspension, Brentford striker Ivan Toney has been showing the Bees just what they have been missing this term.

The attacker has scored four goals in six Premier League appearances this year and has only failed to score in his two tussles with Manchester City. He will be given an easier challenge this weekend as Brentford head to West Ham United.

And while this game may be outside the weekend on Monday night, it is still part of this round of fixtures.  We are just that confident in Toney grabbing a goal at the London Stadium that we wanted to include a market from this game.

The Hammers are in woeful form, having lost three on the spin with 11 goals conceded in the process. Toney will be rubbing his hands together to face them this weekend as he looks to resume his goalscoring form.
