Hearts beat Kilmarnock

We open this weekend’s away win treble with a bet on Hearts at Rugby Park in the only fixture from the Championship group. The Jambos are third in the table and would need a near-total collapse to lose their place to Kilmarnock and drop to fourth. It’s not impossible, but a great season from Steven Naismith’s men means it’s highly unlikely. The visitors can put the race to bet with a win on Saturday afternoon.

Both Killie and the Jambos enter with identical form in their last three league starts, winning two and drawing the spare. The rivals meet for the fifth time this season, and with Hearts already winning twice at Rugby Park, we’re more than happy to stick with the team from Edinburgh. Back Hearts to get our weekend away win treble off to a flyer.

Ross County beat Livingston

Moving to the first of two games from the Premiership relegation group and we trust Ross County to win at Livingston. The home team is rock bottom of the league following a nightmare season where not much has gone right for David Martindale’s team. The Lions have lost three of their last four and won just three times all season, making them easy to oppose between now and the finish line.

Ross County is one place higher in the pecking order, and despite being in the relegation playoff place, the Staggies have a fighting chance of pulling themselves clear. They’ve won two of their last four, including a stunning 3-2 win over Rangers in their most recent start. A fully rested team with plenty to play for against the bottom of the league. We’re happy to pin our hopes on Ross County banking a vital three points.

Hibs beat St Johnstone

We wrap things up at McDiarmid Park in Perth, where St Johnstone host Hibs. You won’t find either of these teams in the bottom six too often, but both the Saints and Hibees are paying the price for a poor campaign. All the pressure and focus are now on rebuilding in the summer, meaning many players in both camps are fighting for their futures. There’s still plenty to aim for in this game, with the teams chasing an important win.

St Johnstone have won only one of their previous five at this level and were last seen in action losing 2-0 at home to Kilmarnock before the split. Hibs are winless in three, suffering back-to-back losses before improving to draw at Fir Park last time. This Hibs side is miles off its best, but we’ll take a chance on the visitors piling pressure on their hosts.
