The EFL dominates our screens on Good Friday to kick-off the Easter weekend and there are some cracking Championship clashes in store that are sure to impact both ends of the table.

We've picked out what we have deemed to be the best bets from the 12 matches on show on Friday. Our weekend Championship predictions range from goalscorers, both teams to score and goal barriers.

Weekend Championship Tips

  • Josh Sargent to score anytime in Norwich City vs Plymouth Argyle @ 23/20
  • Preston -1 handicap in Preston North End vs Rotherham United @ 6/4
  • Both teams to score Yes in Queens Park Rangers vs Birmingham City @ 10/11
  • Over 2.5 Ipswich goals in Blackburn Rovers vs Ipswich Town @ 5/2

Josh Sargent to score anytime in Norwich City vs Plymouth Argyle @ 23/20

Norwich City's play-off push has been massively-aided by the return of Josh Sargent from injury. The American forward returned to the side just after Christmas, having been sidelined for three months.

He had started the season strongly with three goals in four matches, and he has picked up right where he left off since his injury, having scored 10 since the turn of the new year. The Canaries take on struggling Plymouth Argyle this weekend and you have to fancy Sargent to continue his excellent form in front of goal.

Preston -1 handicap in Preston North End vs Rotherham United @ 6/4

Fellow play-off chasers Preston North End will be looking for some joy this Easter weekend as they host bottom-placed Rotherham United to Deepdale. Boss Ryan Lowe has come under criticism throughout the campaign for inconsistent results but he has the Lilywhites five points outside the play-offs.

After winning on their last outing, they will look to go back-to-back to generate momentum for the final weeks of the campaign. Against a poor Millers side, we like the look of the 6/4 price on them to have a -1 handicap.

Both teams to score Yes in Queens Park Rangers vs Birmingham City @ 10/11

This is a huge clash in the relegation dogfight and Queens Park Rangers will be the favourites heading into this one. But one thing that will have them slightly nervous is that Birmingham City have got yet another manager in the dugout as Gary Rowett has returned to the Blues as interim boss.

Rowett has pedigree in helping teams that are struggling, and for the second time in his career he has the brief of keeping Birmingham in the Championship. After failing to score in their last three games, he will look to address this straight away, especially against a rival at the bottom of the table. We think their goal drought will come to an end here and that BTTS will deliver.

Over 2.5 Ipswich goals in Blackburn Rovers vs Ipswich Town @ 5/2

Ipswich Town are still primed to snatch one of the two automatic promotion spots as they sit a point behind Leeds United and Leicester City. The Tractor Boys are the top scorers in the division with 80 goals so far, and many believe they will reach the 100 mark.

Against strugglers Blackburn Rovers, who have leaked 64 goals this term (second-worst in the league), they will be thinking that they could grab a few at Ewood Park. They've already scored four past Blackburn this season as they won a 4-3 thriller at Portman Road back in September.

With the likes of Kieffer Moore, Omari Hutchinson, Nathan Broadhead and Conor Chaplin, Ipswich are not short of goalscorers, and each of them can terrorise a frail Rovers side.

Over 2.5 Ipswich goals at 5/2
