Valencia vs Cadiz Prediction: Los Che to succeed on home soil

Valencia will hope to make home advantage count when they return to league action to take on Cadiz on Monday night in La Liga.

Ruben Baraja’s team are only two points better off than Monday’s visitors after going four matches without a victory.

Los Che last won in September when they beat Atletico Madrid 3-0 at home, while Cadiz are winless in five.

Baraja will be without Thierry Correia, Mouctar Diakhaby, Jose Gaya and Jesus Vazquez for Monday’s game, while both Alberto Mari and Sergi Canos will need to pass fitness tests.

Cadiz quartet Roger Marti, Brian Ocampo, Fede San Emeterio and Luis Hernandez will miss out through injury, while Darwin Machis and Ruben Alcaraz are suspended.

Confidence must surely be low in both camps, with Valencia’s promising start now a thing of the past after a four-match winless run. Los Che have managed to pick up two draws during that time, but having home advantage may help their cause.

Cadiz are winless in five games, and their injury problems should cause them too many problems in the final third.
