Match Odds

Ukraine are the 8/13 favourites to win the game and a draw is 11/4, while North Macedonia are 9/2 to claim a victory.

A Ukraine win and both teams to score is 11/4 and a repeat 3-2 win for Rebrov’s side is 28/1.

Team News

Ukraine boss Serhiy Rebrov is without a couple of his regulars due to injury and the most notable absentee is captain Andriy Yarmolenko, who is missing after undergoing knee surgery.

Girona forward Viktor Tsygankov scored a late winner in the reverse fixture, but he won’t be involved due to a hamstring problem, while Real Madrid goalkeeper Andriy Lunin has pulled out with a back problem.

North Macedonia are also missing their skipper, Stefan Ristovski, who has not represented his nation since June and who is out of favour after a fallout with boss Blagoja Milevski, while forward Ilija Nestorovski is also missing.

Both Teams To Score (yes) @ EVS

A Ukraine win looks the most likely result after their stunning comeback in the reverse fixture, fighting back from 2-0 down to win 3-2. Rebrov’s men will be well supported in Prague, so should benefit from home advantage even if this game is not being played in their home country.

Also, they come into the fixture after two good performances despite taking just one point from games against England and Italy.

However, a Ukraine win is 8/13 and better value can be found in the both teams to score market at 1/1 for goals at both ends.

The reverse fixture produced a five-goal thriller and both of these sides will be desperate for all three points as they bid to move ahead of Italy in the standings.

Goals at both ends has been a feature of Ukraine’s games of late and both teams have scored in four of their last five. They have scored themselves in all of those fixtures, with their one clean sheet coming against a Malta outfit who have failed to score in four of their five qualifiers.

North Macedonia are generally good for a goal and they have only failed to score in one of their last eight games in a run stretching back to November 2022.

The Lynxes drew a blank in a 7-0 defeat to England in a game where they failed to register a single attempt – but they responded to that humbling by holding Italy to a 1-1 draw and after striking twice in their first meeting with Ukraine they should be able to score at least once in the Czech Republic.

Enis Bardhi To Score Anytime @ 9/2

There are a few clear scorer contenders within the Ukraine team, but as both teams are expected to score it makes sense to look for one of the visiting players, who are available at bigger prices.

Enis Bardhi instantly jumps out as he tends to be involved when North Macedonia are successful in attack. The Trabzonspor man scored against Italy and assisted both goals in the 2-0 win over Malta in their last fixture.

Bardhi also scored in the first meeting with Ukraine, meaning he has been directly involved in four of his country’s last five goals and at 9/2 he looks a good outside option for an anytime goal.
