Spurs vs west ham

Tottenham Hotspur welcome West Ham United to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League's early kick-off on Saturday (12:30, live on TNT Sports 1).

Ange Postecoglou's side suffered a capitulation against Brighton & Hove Albion prior to the international break, while the visitors enjoyed a comfortable win over Ipswich Town. Read on for my Tottenham vs West Ham prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News

Postecoglou is waiting to see whether captain Son Heung-min can shake off a thigh issue in time for the visit of the Hammers, as the South Korea captain was called up to his country's squad for their World Cup 2026 qualifiers before dropping out.

Lucas Bergvall suffered a calf injury on international duty with Sweden but could still feature this weekend, however Wilson Odobert remains unavailable.

As for the visitors, Niclas Fullkrug is still nursing an Achilles problem and was unavailable for Germany over the international period, meaning he's a doubt for this weekend too.

Michail Antonio looks set to take the former Borussia Dortmund forward's place in attack, which may not be a bad thing - the Jamaica international has scored six times against Spurs, his best record against a single opponent.

Spurs are 1/2 to claim all three points, giving them an implied win probability of 66.7%, while the Hammers are 5/1 to make it back-to-back wins. The draw is currently priced up at 4/1, and both teams to score is trading around 1/2.

Dominic Solanke heads the anytime goalscorer market for the hosts at 23/20, while Jarrod Bowen is best-priced for the visitors at 5/2.

Tottenham to win and both teams to score @ 6/4

Spurs' capitulation against Brighton last time out is a fair representation of their season so far - inconsistent. They'll be desperate to prove that their 3-2 collapse was a one-off blip.

However, the majority of their struggles have come on the road, and despite the disappointing result against the Seagulls, Postecoglou's side have picked up three wins from four home outings this term. They've only lost to rivals Arsenal, and they are facing a West Ham side who arrive in mixed form with three losses in their last six.

Julen Lopetegui will want his side to build on their 4-1 win over Ipswich, and although they're unbeaten on their travels, this is their toughest assignment to date.

The Hammers have scored in eight of their nine games across all competitions, including every away outing, but I think home advantage will prove to be key here, so I'm backing a Spurs win and both teams to score.

Brennan Johnson to score anytime @ 6/4

Brennan Johnson's stock continues to rise as the Welsh international has scored in each of his last seven games for club and country.

Only eight Premier League players have registered more than his 21 attempts on goal, and he's had more touches in the opposing penalty area than any of his Spurs teammates.

At 6/4, the former Nottingham Forest winger appeals as an anytime goalscorer option this weekend.
