Dominic Solanke (TOT) 1+ Shots on Target

It's fair to say Dominic Solanke hasn't been a roaring success at Tottenham Hotspur following his £65m move from AFC Bournemouth last summer. The 27-year-old has scored just 13 goals in 40 appearances for the Lilywhites, although injuries have hampered his progress.

Still, he's Tottenham's second-highest scorer across all competitions this season, behind only Brennan Johnson (16). Furthermore, only the Welsh winger and captain Son Heung-min (both three) can match his Europa League tally.

Solanke's latest strike in the competition was a crucial one as he struck the only goal of the game in Spurs' quarter-final second-leg victory over Eintracht Frankfurt in Germany, with the English outfit advancing to the final four 2-1 on aggregate.

The Chelsea Academy graduate coolly converted a spot-kick past Eintracht goalkeeper Kaua Santos, one of three shots he recorded in the game, to bring his shots per 90 minutes average in the Europa League this season up to 2.3. Solanke has taken 14 shots in the competition for Spurs, hitting the target with half (seven), meaning his shots on target per 90 average is 1.1.

He hit the target with his only shot of the first leg draw against Eintracht (1-1) and has recorded five across four European outings at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, so he looks like a good bet to at least test Bodo/Glimt's goalkeeper, Nikita Haikin, on Thursday.

Football Odds

Pedro Porro (TOT) 2+ Shots

Pedro Porro might be a defender on paper, but in practice, he's a winger who lets fly at goal whenever the opportunity presents itself.

The Spurs right-back has taken 15 shots in this season's Europa League - only Son (22) has recorded more attempts in the Spurs side - and scored one goal, the equaliser in the first-leg stalemate against Eintracht.

Porro's shots per 90 average in Europe is 1.6, which is slightly higher than his average in the 2024/25 Premier League (1.4).

The Spaniard has taken at least one shot in all four home games he has played in during Spurs' run to the semi-finals of the Europa League, registering six attempts against AS Roma and three against IF Elfsborg in the league phase, before trying his luck once against each of AZ Alkmaar and Eintracht in the knockouts.

Bodo/Glimt have been at home in the first leg of their last two European ties, but away to FC Twente in the first leg of their knockout phase play-off tie on February 13, they allowed 14 shots at their goal - two by Dutch right-back Bart van Rooij, who recorded another couple in the return fixture (one in regulation time, one in extra time).

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bodo/Glimt Stats

  • Dominic Solanke (TOT) is averaging 1.1 shots on target per 90 in 24/25 UEL
  • Pedro Porro (TOT) is averaging 1.6 shots per 90 in 24/25 UEL

Ulrik Saltnes (BOD) 2+ Shots

Glimt midfielder Ulrik Saltnes was the star of the show in his side's quarter-final first-leg victory over Lazio on April 10, bagging a brace in Norway to help Kjetil Knudsen's charges to a 2-0 success. He took more shots (five) than anyone else at Aspmyra Stadion, accounting for 27.8% of their total attempts (18).

The 32-year-old is averaging 2.7 shots per 90 in this season's Europa League - the highest of any active Glimt player. Those two goals against Lazio are his only strikes in Europe this season, but he's made a strong start to the 2025 Eliteserien campaign, netting three times in his first four appearances.

With captain and fellow midfielder Patrick Berg suspended for Thursday's trip to north London, Saltnes will take on an even more important role in the first leg.

He should be buoyed by the fragilities evident in this Spurs side, though, given they have faced 10+ shots in three of their four Europa League knockout phase games in 2024/25.

Spurs also come into this first leg on the back of a 5-1 thrashing by Premier League winners Liverpool, who recorded 25 attempts at Anfield last Sunday.

Saltnes should fancy his chances of exposing this Spurs midfield and defence, so a couple of shots on Thursday are certainly viable for the Norwegian.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bodo/Glimt Odds

Jens Petter Hauge (BOD) 1+ Shots

Another player who should be crucial for Glimt at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium is Norwegian winger Jens Petter Hauge, who has scored twice in this season's Europa League, averaging 1.6 shots per 90.

The 25-year-old, who had spells in Italy and Germany with Milan and Eintracht, respectively, shot four times against Lazio in the first leg of the quarter-finals before recording a couple of attempts in Rome.

Hauge's importance to the visitors is heightened by the potential absence of fellow winger Ole Didrik Blomberg, who missed Sunday's 3-0 win against KFUM Oslo with an ankle injury. He's likely to start on the left-hand side of Glimt's attack on Thursday, which could see him up against Porro, a player not renowned for his defensive qualities, so I'm expecting Hauge to work at least one shooting opportunity in the first leg.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Bodo/Glimt Stats

  • Ulrik Saltnes (BOD) is averaging 2.7 shots per 90 in 24/25 UEL
  • Jens Petter Hauge (BOD) is averaging 1.6 shots per 90 in 25/25 UEL
  • Kasper Hogh (BOD) is averaging 1.4 shots per 90 in 24/25 UEL (joint-top scorer in competition)

Kasper Hogh (BOD) 1+ Shots

Completing this Bet Builder is a shot for Glimt striker Kasper Hogh, who has struck seven times in this season's Europa League - only Olympiakos' Ayoub El Kaabi (also seven) can match his tally.

The 24-year-old is averaging 1.4 shots per 90 in the competition and has registered at least one attempt in six of his last eight European outings, including in his most recent one away to Lazio.

Eintracht centre-forward Hugo Ekitike shot twice in both quarter-final legs against Spurs, while AZ striker Troy Parrott recorded three attempts against Postecoglou's side in the Netherlands and two in north London, so at least one is achievable for Hogh on Thursday.
