Tottenham sent out a bit of a statement in midweek by dumping Manchester City out of the EFL Cup, and now entertain top-four rivals Aston Villa in the Premier League on Sunday (14:00, live on Sky Sports Main Event).

I've picked out four bets to form my Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa Bet Builder tips.

Tottenham Hotspur vs Aston Villa Bet Builder Tips

  • Both Teams To Score
  • Dejan Kulusevski 1+ assists
  • Youri Tielemans 1+ shots
  • John McGinn 2+ fouls

Both Teams To Score

Tottenham have been close to perfect at home this season with six wins in seven games across all competitions. They have lost once, but that was a defeat to title contenders Arsenal back in September and, on the balance of play, they were unlucky not to get anything out of that game.

Villa are unbeaten on their travels and have 10 points from a possible 12 away from home in the Premier League.

With both teams in form, both attacks should be able to make a breakthrough and both teams to score has been a winning bet in each of Villa’s last three domestic fixtures, as well as in three of Spurs’ last five overall.

Dejan Kulusevski 1+ assists

The biggest price selection on this bet builder is an anytime assist for Spurs man Dejan Kulusevski.

The Swede only has one assist to his name in nine Premier League appearances, but he has created three key chances according to the competition’s official website.

Kulusevski assisted both goals in the midweek win over the Citizens and has two in his last four games for Sweden.

Youri Tielemans 1+ shots

Villans midfielder Youri Tielemans has been getting a few chances of late and he can manage at least one shot on Sunday.

Tielemans averages exactly one shot per-game in the league and he’s tried his luck seven times across his last four appearances.

John McGinn 2+ fouls

John McGinn was sent off when these sides last met, a 4-0 win for Spurs at Villa Park in March last season, and may commit a few fouls when the Villans head to North London on Sunday.

The Scotland international averages a reasonable 0.8 fouls per-game, but he tends to have games where he is a little more physical.

In all three Premier League games this season where he has committed a foul he’s made at least two, so backing McGinn to commit at least two looks a strong play in what could be a hard-fought game between two teams with the same goal for the season ahead.
