Torino vs AC Milan Prediction: Rossoneri ready to bounce back

Given they have no European football, AC Milan will be frustrated that their Coppa Italia journey came to an early end via Thursday’s 1-0 defeat at Lazio but the Rossoneri will feel anything but disappointed about their start to the Serie A season.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side have lost just one league game all season, winning eight of their 13 fixtures so far and starting the weekend top of the table, suggesting Monday’s trip to Turin should see them bounce back immediately.
Torino are languishing in the bottom half of the Serie A table and a run of five games without a win makes them rightful underdogs for Monday's clash at Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

Team News
Torino striker Giovanni Simeone looks set to miss out so Duvan Zapata is likely to be joined by former Southampton man Che Adams up front.
Ardian Ismajli is another doubt for the hosts but Ivan Ilic is back in training and could feature.
Santiago Gimenez and Zachary Athekame are joined in the Milan infirmary by Youssouf Fofana, meaning Luka Modric and Ruben Loftus-Cheek should start in midfield.
Torino are 18/5 underdogs to secure three points, with in-form Milan 4/5 and the draw 5/2.
Milan’s excellent defence means over 2.5 goals can be backed at 11/10 and those believing Il Toro have the firepower to trouble their title-chasing visitors can get 10/11 for both teams to score.
Mexican forward Santiago Gimenez is the 3/1 favourite to score first, with 6/1 Duvan Zapata Torino’s best hope of getting the ball rolling.
AC Milan to win @ 4/5
AC Milan can count themselves unlucky to have lost to Lazio on Thursday, as they won the expected-goals battle 0.97-0.56, but they have a golden opportunity to hit their stride again, taking on a Torino side who were routed 5-1 by Como in their last home match.
Monday’s hosts have scored just 12 goals in 13 Serie A games this term - bad news when coming up against a defence which has conceded just nine in the same time - and lack the potency to earn anything from this clash.
Il Toro did take four points from the pair’s two meetings last term but they no longer have Malick Thiaw, scorer of an own goal in each of those clashes, to open friendly fire on his Milan teammates, with the German now at Newcastle.
The Rossoneri look a completely different outfit under Allegri and with their points tally of 28 being double that of Torino’s, a gulf in quality is likely to show on Monday.

Christian Pulisic anytime goalscorer @ 8/5
A further boost to Milan’s chances on Monday is the fact Christian Pulisic made his return from injury in the defeat at Lazio and he looks a solid bet to mark his reinstatement to the starting XI with a goal.
The American’s 11 goals made him the Rossoneri’s top scorer in Serie A last term and he has picked up where he left off, scoring seven in just 11 games so far this season.
Pulisic has also netted five times in his last seven appearances and should get plenty of chances against a Torino side who had conceded a league-high 23 goals after 13 Serie A matches.
