The remaining two Scottish Premiership games of the weekend are played on Sunday. The curtain goes up on the day’s action in Perth, where St Johnstone host Rangers in a clash you can follow live on Sky Sports from noon, before Hearts host Aberdeen at Tynecastle.

St Johnstone are at home as they aim to take advantage of a leggy opponent, who were in Europa League action on Thursday night in France.
The locals started the round ninth in the Premiership, with their stats for the season showing four wins, one draw, and nine defeats, scoring 17 goals but conceding 27. They are currently four points better than Hearts in the relegation zone, but they know they must improve defensively to avoid a nervy finish.
Rangers thumped Nice 4-1 in France on Thursday evening but bus to Perth on a rotten run of domestic form. They’re third in the Premiership and lagging behind runaway leaders Celtic.
The Gers have won only two of their last five games at this level and enter on the back of a frustrating 1-1 draw with Dundee United at Ibrox.
What’s worrying for fans ahead of round 13 is Rangers are much better at home than on the road. Could they concede more ground in the battle to finish second?
St Johnstone vs Rangers Odds
Neither the Saints nor the Gers fill bettors with confidence ahead of Sunday afternoon’s game. It will be interesting to see if backers choose the value on a home win or stick with Rangers, trusting Philippe Clement to guide his team back on track with an away win.
St Johnstone beat Kilmarnock 1-0 at this venue last Saturday, a result achieved thanks to a goal scored by Makenzie Kirk early in the second half. The home win is 7/1 with Betfred.
Pressure is mounting on Rangers boss Clement, with many fans, pundits, and sections of the media feeling the experienced Belgian is in over his head at Ibrox.
It’s unclear if the board, a lack of investment, a misfiring squad, or his poor tactics, which don’t seem well-suited to the hustle and bustle of Scottish football, are making his job difficult. The away win is priced at 1/3, with the draw at 4/1.
The implied odds on these prices show our traders believe Rangers have a 75% chance of emerging victorious and travelling home with all three points. Back the draw is a 20% shot with the home win a 13% probability.
Rangers win
It’s been difficult to get Rangers results correct in the last few weeks as the club stumbles from one poor result to the next. Clement’s team have struggled for goals on the road and have scored the same number of league goals as their hosts, who are six places beneath them in the Premiership.
Rangers need the likes of Cyriel Dessers, Danilo, and Hamza Igamane to fire them back into the title race and fast, starting on Sunday.
Despite dropping two points last weekend, we’re backing Rangers to win on the road and close the gap on Aberdeen, at least for a few hours with the Dons in Edinburgh.
Rangers have already beaten St Johnstone twice this season, winning in the Premiership and on-route to the League Cup final at Hampden against Celtic in December. You can back Rangers to win or add them to your weekend accumulators.

St Johnstone 0-2 Rangers
Having backed Rangers in the match-winner market, we aim a little higher and shoot for better odds back playing St Johnstone 0-2 Rangers in the correct score betting.
Regular readers of Betfred’s Scottish football previews know we’ve already landed a fair share of winners at great odds, including a few correct scores in games involving Rangers.
Looking at the stats, we take encouragement from recent meetings between St Johnstone and Rangers. Each of the previous two games played this season ended in a 2-0 win for Gers, and that streak extends to five of the last six.
The spare in that run was a 3-0 win in February. We’re more than happy to follow such a strong trend at a nice price and back Rangers 2-0 in the correct score market, which is good enough to support as a single.
