Sporting CP vs Arsenal Bet Builder Tips: Gyokeres to score in 13/2 shot

Sporting CP welcome Arsenal to Estadio Jose Alvalade in the Uefa Champions League on Tuesday (20:00, TNT Sports 1), hoping to inflict another defeat on an English opponent, having bested Manchester City last time out in the competition.
Arsenal's unbeaten start ended in their last away trip as they slipped to a 1-0 defeat at the hands of Inter Milan. This clash looks set to be an entertaining affair and my Sporting CP vs Arsenal bet builder tips would suggest so too, which you can find below.

Sporting CP or draw
Sporting have been brilliant in the first four matches of the Champions League. They are unbeaten and have amassed 10 points thus far. That was of course under Ruben Amorim, who has since departed for Manchester United.
New boss Joao Pereira has big shoes to fill and this will be his first big test in the dugout. The groundwork has been laid for him here in this competition as Sporting sit second, but without Amorim, there is no guarantee that their momentum will continue.
Although, I do believe they will be able to pick up another result when the Gunners come to town. They will have been buoyed by beating Man City and will fancy themselves against an Arsenal side that have had more misses than hits of late.
In Viktor Gyokeres, the hosts boast arguably the best striker in Europe right now, and he has the capacity to win games single-handedly. He is of course the one player Arsenal need to watch out for.
The Gunners picked up an impressive win against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League at the weekend, so it seems like they could be getting back on track after a disappointing run of form.
I'm not overly convinced Sporting in their own backyard but I've gone for double chance because I can see them earning a draw.
Both teams to score
These two sides are blessed with attacking talent. Sporting's main man is Gyokeres, for Arsenal, I'd say it's Bukayo Saka. The Gunners also have Kai Havertz, Martin Odegaard, Gabriel Martinelli and Leandro Trossard.
Gyokeres' supporting cast includes Marcus Edwards, Francisco Trincao, Maximiliano Araujo and Pedro Goncalves. There is going to be plenty of quality on offer in this match, and so I think we will see goals at both ends, which has landed in two of Sporting's European matches to date, while it is yet to deliver in an Arsenal fixture on this stage.
Over 2.5 goals
I think there will be no shortage of goals in this clash, largely down to the attacking quality on both sides, which I have mentioned above. Over 2.5 goals landed when Sporting beat Man City 4-1 earlier this month.
We are yet to see three or more goals in a Champions League match featuring Arsenal but I think this one could break the mould. They scored three against Forest at the weekend, so it feels as though their attacking output is on the rise, and I think we can see them contributing to this game reaching the three-goal mark.
Ultimately, I think superstar Gyokeres will have the biggest say, as I am expecting him to deliver another outstanding performance.
Viktor Gyokeres anytime goalscorer
How can I not back him to score after all the nice things I've said about him? He's already scored over 30 goals in all competitions for Sporting and Sweden this season, with five coming in the Champions League alone.
He netted a hat-trick against City earlier this month, albeit two were penalties, but he will be relishing the chance to add to his tally against another English side, who have been heavily linked with him in recent months.
Viktor Gyokeres and Kai Havertz to commit 1+ fouls each
More Gyokeres content sorry. I've gone for him and Havertz to commit a foul each because the two forwards have been frequent offenders in Europe so far in 2024/25. Gyokeres has committed 10 fouls already in the first four games, while Havertz has been penalised on nine occasions himself.
Both don't shy away from getting physical when trying to win the ball back high up the pitch, so I think we will see them both add to their tallies on Tuesday.
