Sporting Braga vs Napoli Prediction

  • Napoli to win and both teams to score @ 23/10
  • Victor Osimhen to score at anytime @ 9/10

Team news

Centre-half Sikou Niakate is expected to miss out on this game through injury for Braga, but otherwise they have a clean bill of health.

For Napoli, they will be without goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini due to a hand injury, but are also in good shape apart from that.

Napoli to win and both teams to score @ 23/10

Napoli have dropped points in their two most recent games in Serie A, losing to Lazio 2-1 before drawing 2-2 against Genoa last time out.

However, they should be able to get back to winning ways away to Braga, who look the weakest team in this Champions League group, which also includes Real Madrid and Union Berlin.

The Portuguese team got past Backa Topola and Panathinaikos in qualification, but their domestic form has taken a hit as a result.

They are six points off top spot in the Primeira Liga already after winning just two of their opening five league games.

Fans of Braga won’t be able to complain of a lack of goals however, they have scored ten and conceded ten in their five league matches.

Both teams have scored in seven of their last eight fixtures and that run could be set to continue in this clash.

However, the home team have lost and both teams have scored in their last four Champions League group matches and that looks the likeliest outcome once more in this one.

Victor Osimhen to score at anytime @ 9/10

Striker Victor Osimhen was crucial to Napoli’s title win last season, netting 26 times in 32 league games.

The Nigerian has picked up where he left off in the new campaign, netting three times in four Serie A appearances.

He also scored five times in six Champions League games last season and looks likely to continue his strong record in this competition this time around.

Against a Braga defence who have leaked five goals in their last two matches, the frontman could well find himself on the scoresheet once more.

As the spearhead of Napoli’s attack, expect Osimhen to find the net in this clash.
