Dundee vs Dundee United Prediction: Terrors can give city rivals nightmares

There's a Dundee derby to look forward to on Sunday (14:00 GMT) when Dundee United make the very short trip to city rivals Dundee for a Dens Park clash.

Dundee United downed their great rivals 2-0 at Dens Park in August, but the Dark Blues turned the table to beat the Terrors 1-0 at Tannadice in January and the city is set for the third Dundee derby of the campaign.

The Terrors were good 2-0 winners on hostile territory in August and they can be fancied to give their city rivals nightmares again this weekend.

Jim Goodwin's men have lost only two of their last seven matches and that solid run includes good wins over St Mirren and Falkirk.

The Terrors can be pleased with their progress this season after a huge squad overhaul in the summer and. while they can’t be viewed as one of Scotland's leading lights, they may just have the edge on their city rivals.
