Dundee United vs St Mirren Prediction: Terrors can give visitors nightmares
A top-six position looks beyond Dundee United this season, but it has been a decent campaign for the Terrors. Jim Goodwin’s men saw a huge squad overhaul in the summer and if one or two draws could have been turned into victories, the Tangerines may well have pushed for a top-half finish.
It has been a mixed bag for St Mirren, who lifted the Scottish League Cup earlier this term, but the Buddies are now desperate for points to move away from relegation danger. Read on for my Dundee United vs St Mirren predictions.

Craig Sibbald and Isaac Pappoe should be fit to return for United later this month, but the duo remain sidelined for the visit of St Mirren.
The Buddies will be without Jonah Ayunga and Malik Dijksteel, but there are no new concerns for manager Stephen Robinson.

Dundee United to win @ 7/5
It was only a couple of months ago that St Mirren were basking in the glory of the Scottish League Cup final success over Celtic.
However, the Buddies have won only two of their 15 matches in 90 minutes since their Hampden Park success and the Paisley side are now looking over their shoulder at the relegation playoff spot.
St Mirren sit only three points clear of Kilmarnock in the danger zone and their awful away form has been a major contributing factor to the decline.
Stephen Robinson’s men have won only one of 14 away Scottish Premiership matches this term and the Buddies have scored only 22 goals in 28 games all told.
Dundee United have drawn too many matches this term, but the Terrors have lost only one of their last five games and this looks an excellent opportunity to pick up three points.

Zachary Sapsford to score first @ 11/2
Dundee United boss Jim Goodwin switched to a 3-5-1-1 formation at Motherwell last weekend, but the Terrors should revert to a more attacking 3-4-3 when St Mirren come to Tannadice.
Zachary Sapsford could lead the line on Tuesday night and the Australian has his six league goals this term. The 23-year-old is still learning his trade, but the Aussie is hitting 2.53 shots per 90 minutes in the Scottish Premiership this season and there should be more to come.
Dundee United are expected to have the better of this Tannadice clash and, at 11/2, Sapsford can be fancied to grab the first goal of the game against a struggling St Mirren side.
