Celtic will continue their pursuit of Hearts at the top of the Scottish Premiership table when they travel to Pittodrie Stadium to take on Aberdeen on Wednesday night (20:00, live on Sky Sports Football).
The visitors jumped ahead of fierce rivals Rangers into second place at the weekend, while the hosts are in seventh spot heading into Wednesday's tussle. Read on for my Aberdeen vs Celtic predictions, as well as the latest team news and match odds.

Team News
The hosts will be without Kristers Tobers, Mats Knoester, Gavin Molloy and Nicholas Suman due to injuries, while Graeme Shinnie will be suspended after his red card against Kilmarnock at the weekend.
As for Celtic, Alistair Johnston, Callum Osmand, Jota, Marcelo Saracchi and Cameron Carter-Vickers remain sidelined.
Kasper Schmeichel is expected to start between the sticks for the visitors, while Benjamin Nygren and Tomas Cvancara will lead the line after both managed to get on the scoresheet against Falkirk last time out.
Aberdeen vs Celtic Predicted Lineups
- Aberdeen: Mitov; Devlin, Morrison, Nilsen, Frame; Shinnie; Bilalovic, Cameron, Armstrong, Keskinen; Nisbet
- Celtic: Schmeichel; Araujo, Murray, Scales, Tierney; Yang, Engels, McGregor, Maeda; Cvancara, Nygren
Aberdeen are 13/2 for this contest, the draw is 18/5 and Celtic are 2/5 favourites, giving them an implied win probability of 71.4%.
We have two price boosts available for Wednesday's game - Celtic to win, Celtic most corners and Celtic most cards is available at 6/1 (from 5/1), and Cvancara to score and assist a goal can be backed at 14/1 (from 11/1).
Aberdeen vs Celtic Stats
- Both teams have scored in three of Celtic's last four games
- Aberdeen have scored in 11 of their last 13 home games across all competitions
Both teams to score @ 4/5
Aberdeen and Celtic have already met twice this term, with the latter winning to nil at Pittodrie Stadium back in August.
However, I'm backing both teams to find the back on the net on Wednesday, as each side has scored at least once in four of the five previous meetings between the pair.
In fact, the Dons rarely draw a blank at home, bagging in 11 of their last 13 home games across all competitions, and they're facing a Celtic team that have shipped 24 goals this season - the worst defensive record in Scotland's top four.
Celtic know where the goal is, as demonstrated by their 43 goals scored in 24 top-flight fixtures, and they've scored in their last eight matches across all competitions.

Benjamin Nygren to score first @ 10/3
Celtic marksman Nygren has scored in three successive games for the Bhoys and in his last four starts.
The Swede has five strikes in his last seven appearances for Martin O'Neill's side and he opened the scoring when the pair met back in August, as well as the last time the two teams locked horns at Celtic Park.
