After an impressive 2-0 win at Eleda Stadion in the Champions League play-off first leg, Sparta Praha will be looking to finish the job when they host Malmo at epet ARENA for the return leg on Tuesday night (20:00 kick-off).

An own goal from Malmo’s Jens Stryger Larsen and a goal from Matej Rynes has given Sparta a healthy lead ahead of the second leg in Prague. Considering their strong record at epet ARENA and Malmo’s struggles on the road in this competition, the Czech giants should have enough to complete the job and progress to the all-new league phase of the Champions League.

Team News

Starting with the hosts, Imanol Garcia, Roman Mokrovics and David Pavelka are all set to miss Tuesday's match for Sparta Praha due to injury.

After making numerous changes for Saturday's league game, manager Lars Friis is set to revert back to the same XI that started last week's first leg in Sweden.

As for the visitors, Malmo will have to do without Niklas Moisander, Anton Tinnerholm and Stefano Vecchia who remain sidelined due to injury.

Nils Zatterstrom, Sebastian Nanasi, Sergio Pena and Isaac Kiese Thelin were all dropped to the bench on Saturday for Malmo's Allsvenskan draw with Kalmar, but are set to return to the starting line-up.

Sparta Praha to win and both teams to score @ 12/5

Sparta were expected to be in for a tough challenge on their trip to the Allsvenskan frontrunners last week, but they still managed to come away from Malmo with a two-goal advantage.

Praha have an impressive record on their own patch and are unbeaten in their last 11 competitive home games, with their last loss at epet ARENA coming back in March with a 5-1 defeat at the hands of Liverpool.

Meanwhile, Malmo have only managed one win in their last seven away games in the Champions League and, while they might get on the scoresheet on Tuesday night, Sparta should come out on top.

Spartabanner Veljko Birmancevic anytime goalscorer @ 21/10

Veljko Birmancevic is Sparta's top goalscorer in the league this season, having already found the back of the net on three occasions in six games.

The 26-year-old midfielder is the team's penalty taker and he's proven to be prolific from the spot already this season.

Capable of contributing goals from open play as well, Birmancevic is a player to consider in the anytime goalscorer market at 21/10.
