Spain continue their Euro 2025 bid on Friday (20:00, BBC One) when they face host nation Switzerland at Wankdorf Stadium in the quarter-finals. The reigning world champions have been brilliant during the group stage, winning all three of their fixtures against Portugal, Belgium and Italy.

Over 4.5 Spain goals

Spain have been excellent at the Euros up to this point and the pre-tournament favourites are very much the team to beat. Host nation Switzerland will feel like they have drawn the short straw in having to face the World Cup winners at the first hurdle of the knockout stage, and they know exactly what to expect from Montserrat Tome's charges.

La Roja are the overwhelming favourites to progress from this quarter-final tie, so I have had to look elsewhere to make the price of this Bet Builder look more appealing. Spain have been prolific in front of goal, so the obvious port of call is goals.

Spain's attacking stars have been outstanding during the group stage, and that was just them warming up. In their three fixtures to date, La Roja have scored 14 goals, with two of their matches seeing them find the net at least five times (Portugal and Belgium).

For that reason, I think backing the Spaniard's to hit over 4.5 goals looks a smart selection against a Switzerland side who are arguably the weakest team still left in the tournament. The Swiss have not faced a test of this magnitude at the Euros so far and while they do have the home advantage, they are facing the best team in the world who are in red-hot form.

Their proficiency in front of goal also runs further than just the past couple of weeks. Spain have scored five-plus goals in four of their previous seven appearances in all competitions - with Portugal and Belgium both having been on the receiving end twice.

Esther Gonzalez to score 2+ goals

Forward Esther Gonzalez has been Spain's biggest attacking threat in Switzerland so far, having contributed four goals in three appearances. The 32-year-old started as she meant to go in the opening Group B match with Portugal as she netted a brace - with her first goal coming in just the second minute.

She has since followed this up with goals against both Belgium and Italy, with the latter seeing her score from the bench. The Gotham FC star is a pivotal figure for La Roja and he has an impact whether she starts or is used as a substitute.

Gonzalez is now bidding to extend her scoring streak to four matches, and given the way she is playing, as well as the quality around her to provide service, it feels inevitable that we will see her name pop up on the scoresheet.

But I'm going one further here and backing her to find the net at least twice on Friday night. She has already experienced a brace at the Euros and she is coming up against a Swiss defence that is yet to face a test of this size.

Over 10.5 corners

I round off this three-legged Bet Builder with over 10.5 corners in the match. Corners have been frequent to come by from a Spanish perspective, with all of their group stage clashes seeing them post at least nine corners.

In their match against Italy, there were 14 corners in the game. Against Belgium, there were 12 and against Portugal, a total of 11.
