Spain will look to wrap up top spot in Group A and finish their Euro 2024 qualifying campaign on a high when they host Georgia at the Estadio Jose Zorrilla on Sunday.

Georgia head to Valladolid after frustrating the Scots in a 2-2 draw in Tbilisi but will face a much sterner test against the former world champions, who will be a serious contender when the European Championships commence in Germany next summer.

Spain vs Georgia Betting Tips

  • Spain total goals over 3.5 @ 6/4
  • #PickYourPunt - Alvaro Morata & Ferran Torres to score anytime @ 7/4

Team news

The big news in Spain is on whether Manchester City midfielder Rodri will feature against the Georgians on Sunday. Rodri is believed to have reported discomfort in training and took no part in the 3-1 win in Cyprus last time out.

Whether he will be risked against Georgia remains to be seen, while the same can be said for Valencia left-back Jose Gaya who is also a doubt with a knee injury.

As for Georgia, Levan Shengelia and Luka Lochoshvili were both forced off against Scotland and there is some doubt about their participation on Sunday.

However, Scotland players might not be surprised to see Lochoshvili take the field in Valladolid, as they believed a certain amount of gamesmanship was behind his withdrawal from their clash in Tbilisi.

Match Odds

Former European champions Spain are understandably the firm favourites to claim all three points on Sunday at 1/14.

Georgia are 33/1 to cause a major upset, while the draw is currently available at 9/1.

The Georgians are also 6/1 in the double chance market to get something from this weekend’s game.

Spain total goals over 3.5 @ 6/4

The last time these sides met in Georgia, Spain ran riot with a 7-1 victory back in September.

Scoring four goals between the 22nd and 40th minute to take a 4-0 lead at the break, La Roja blew away Georgia in their own backyard.

Expect more of the same on Sunday as Spain will also have the benefit of home advantage this time around and a competitive strike force all looking to prove they should be the ones starting the first game at next summer’s European Championships.

#PickYourPunt - Alvaro Morata & Ferran Torres to score anytime @ 7/4

Two of those forwards competing for starting roles are Alvaro Morata and Ferran Torres, who will both be looking to add to their goal tallies for their country on Sunday.

Morata bagged a hat-trick in that 7-1 victory in the last meeting with Georgia, while Torres has scored two goals in four appearances in this qualifying campaign.

With #PickYourPunt options, Morata and Torres to both find the back of the net anytime on Sunday is an attractive 7/4.
