The Czech side were beaten 2-0 last week, giving themselves a big task on home soil to send them through to the new league phase.

Considering Slavia Praha boss Jindrich Trpisovsky has named the same starting XI for his side's last two European clashes, you imagine that he will do the same again for this match against Lille. Euro 2024 star Ivan Schranz should be joined by Tomas Chory and Lukas Provod in attack.

Lukas Masopust made his 200th appearance for the club in France and he is likely to once again protect the Czech side's right channel.

Lille are going to be without the services of Aissa Mandi as he is once again suspended to face Slavia Praha. Les Dogues will be able to call upon Edon Zhegrova, however, who returns from a domestic ban.

Angel Gomes remains out of action following the head injury he suffered earlier this month, while Nabil Bentaleb and Ismaily are in the treatment room, with the latter requiring surgery on his knee.

I correctly tipped this man to find the back of the net in the first leg, and I am confident he can get on the scoresheet again in Prague. Jonathan David is a huge asset to Lille and he will play a key role in this second leg, as Les Dogues have still got more work to do to qualify for the league phase.

The Canadian has scored three goals already this term across all competitions. Two of them have come in the Champions League, and one was against Wednesday's opponents last week. Having scored against Slavia Praha already, and the importance of his team holding onto their lead, I think David will step up and deliver at Fortuna Arena.

Draw or Lille and both teams to score @ 13/8

The onus will be on Slavia Praha to set the tempo here. They are at home and are two goals down. Their fans will be hoping they can spur them on to pull off an impressive comeback, but I am not convinced.

The hosts may make things difficult for Lille away from home in this crunch clash, but I believe that it will not be enough to stop this impressive Lille side. Les Dogues may experience periods here where they are up against it, and I think they will be susceptible to conceding this time around, but they should have more than enough to make sure they see out the tie and progress.
