Sheffield United’s survival hopes were given a shot in the arm with victory over Luton Town last time out and the Blades will be determined to build on that success against the Hatters when they host Brighton on Sunday (14:00).

A 3-1 victory at Kenilworth Road was a step in the right direction but manager Chris Wilder will know there is plenty of work to be done to avoid a drop down to the Championship for next season.

This weekend provides a good opportunity for more points against a Brighton side who have struggled on their travels in recent weeks.

We’ve put together a Bet Builder for Sunday’s high-pressure showdown at Bramall Lane.

Sheff Utd vs Brighton Bet Builder Tips

  • Sheff Utd double chance
  • Cameron Archer to score anytime
  • Jayden Bogle to be carded
  • Lewis Dunk to be carded

#PickYourPunt pays at 33/1

Sheff Utd double chance

Having played out a 1-1 draw in November at the Amex Stadium, Sheffield United know they can compete with Roberto De Zerbi’s side

The Seagulls have earned a 5-2 win at Bramall Lane in the FA Cup since, but it may pay not to read too much into that game considering the Blades are focused on their battle for Premier League survival.

When it comes to the league, the Seagulls have had a miserable time on their travels, winning just one of their last 10 away games.

With that in mind, backing the Sheffield men to win or draw on home soil provides the foundation for this Sunday’s Bet Builder.

Cameron Archer to score anytime

Currently the joint-highest league goalscorer at United this season with four, Cameron Archer to score at any time is the second selection.

The goals against Everton, Wolverhampton Wanderers, Aston Villa and most recently Luton, Archer has caused defences problems at times this season.

That strike at Kenilworth Road will have given the 22-year-old’s confidence a boost and he has the ability to get on the scoresheet against a Brighton defence who have conceded seven goals in their last three Premier League games.

Jayden Bogle to be carded

With Brighton’s talented Japanese star Kaoru Mitoma likely to be running down his channel for much of the game, United’s right-back Jayden Bogle could be set for a busy afternoon.

Bogle, who was also booked in the draw at the Amex in November, is no stranger to the referee’s book this season, picking up seven yellow cards already.

With the pace and tricks Mitoma has up his sleeve, it would be little surprise to see Bogle add to his tally of cards this weekend.

Lewis Dunk to be carded

Leading the way with the most bookings at Brighton this season, Lewis Dunk to be carded completes our Bet Builder for Sunday.

The 32-year-old has been booked six times already this term and was shown a yellow card in Brighton’s last outing in a 2-1 defeat at Spurs.

Never afraid to put in a challenge, Dunk to be booked sees this #PickYourPunt come in at an eye-catching 33/1.
