Sheffield United Bramall Lane

Sheffield United are running out of time to save themselves from relegation, with Saturday’s (15:00) visit of Fulham entering the must-win territory for Chris Wilder’s men.

The Cottagers headed into last week's international break having won three of their last four matches, and will be looking to add to that winning run in South Yorkshire. Below is our Sheff Utd vs Fulham prediction, alongside all the latest team news and match odds for this crucial Premier League clash.

Sheff Utd vs Fulham Prediction

  • Fulham to win and over 2.5 goals @ 6/4
  • Rodrigo Muniz to score anytime @ EVS

Team News

Sheffield United were without 12 players just a few weeks ago, but their injury list is slowly reducing as Cameron Archer and Anis Ben Slimane could be fit for this game.

Daniel Jebbison recovered from his injury problem during the international break, while Mason Holgate will return from suspension here.

Fulham came through the international break unscathed, meaning that they have no fresh injury concerns heading into the weekend. Rodrigo Muniz will likely keep his place ahead of Raul Jimenez having scored seven goals in seven appearances for the Cottagers.

Match Odds

Sheffield United are 7/2 - or a 22.2% chance - to win just their fourth game of the campaign, while Fulham can be backed at 7/10, implying that they have a 58.8% chance of doing the double over the Blades.

A repeat of the 3-1 Fulham win at Craven Cottage in the reverse fixture is priced up at 12/1, and both teams to score is available at 4/6.

Fulham to win and over 2.5 goals @ 6/4

Fulham should win this game, and comfortably, which is why I've opted for the match result and total goals rather than just backing the Cottagers outright at 7/10.

Marco Silva's men do tend to concede plenty of goals on their travels - in fact, only four clubs have shipped more goals on the road than the Cottagers and it seems highly unlikely that they will keep only a second away clean sheet of the campaign in Sheffield.

However, the hosts have conceded two or more strikes in eight of their last 10 top-flight matches, so the odds for this match to feature three or more goals is worth a look.

Rodrigo Muniz to score anytime @ EVS

When Aleksandar Mitrovic departed Fulham for pastures new last summer, I think everybody wondered where their goals would come from.

Rodrigo Muniz has provided some answers at least, stepping up in a big way since the start of February, with seven goals in his last seven appearances.

The Brazilian should be able to maintain this purple patch of form against a leaky defence that has conceded 14 goals in their last four games.
