Sassuolo vs Juventus Prediction: Juve train rolls on in 11/4 pick

Juventus go in search of another win in their Serie A resurgence under Luciano Spalletti on Tuesday when they head to the Mapei Stadium to face Sassuolo (20:45 local, 19:45 GMT, live on DAZN).
The Old Lady has lost just one of 14 games in all competitions since sacking Igor Tudor, and the mid-table Neroverdi are next in their sights. Check out my Sassuolo vs Juventus predictions, which follow below with the latest team news and Betfred’s match odds.

Team News
Ismael Kone is back in contention for Sassuolo, and should get the nod from head coach Fabio Grosso.
Besides Woyo Coulibaly, who is out in Morocco with Mali at the Africa Cup of Nations and was sent off in their penalty win over Tunisia, Sassuolo are also missing Edoardo Pieragnolo, Filippo Romagna, Yeferson Paz, Daniel Boloca, Domenico Berardi and Cristian Volpato.
Juve are without Lloyd Kelly, Francisco Conceicao, Jonas Rouhi, Arkadiusz Milik, Federico Gatti, Daniele Rugani and Dusan Vlahovic.
Spalletti will also have to choose between Weston McKennie and Juan Cabal at wing-back, and Lois Openda and Jonathan David are also battling for one spot up top.
Sassuolo vs Juventus Predicted Lineups
- Sassuolo: Muric; Walukiewicz, Idzes, Muharemovic, Doig; Thorstvedt,Matic, Kone; Fadera, Pinamonti, Lauriente
- Juventus: Di Gregorio; Kalulu, Bremer, Koopmeiners; McKennie, Locatelli, Thuram, Cambiaso; Miretti, Yildiz; Openda
No prizes for guessing the favourites, with the Bianconeri 8/11 to continue their fine form.
The home side are 4/1 to cause an upset, while it’s 13/5 for a share of the spoils.
The Double Chance offers up 21/20 about Sassuolo getting a win or draw out of it.
Sassuolo vs Juventus Stats
- Juve have won 9, drawn 4 and lost 1 in the 14 matches they have played since the sacking of Igor Tudor (5-3-1 in Serie A)
- The Bianconeri have won their last 2 away matches without conceding following their 2-1 loss at champions Napoli
- Sassuolo haven’t won in 4 (D3, L1) since beating Fiorentina 3-1 a month ago
Juventus Win & Under 2.5 Goals @ 11/4
I just can’t see Juve not winning this game, but nor do I think they will blow Sassuolo away.
Grosso has set the Neroverdi up pretty well for most of this season. And while they’re winless in four, they have been well in games still.
So the idea Juve will succeed in a fairly cagey one has to be taken seriously, and with Betfred pricing this bet up at 11/4 there is plenty of value to had. The 26.7% implied probability seems low to me.

Kenan Yildiz Anytime Goalscorer @ 8/5
The Old Lady’s goals have come from multiple sources of late, but Yildiz forever looks like their most dangerous attacker.
He scored both goals in the come-from-behind win over Cagliari, grabber another clincher at Pisa and also netted an equaliser in the eventual loss in Naples.
That little run has helped to take him to a tally of seven goals and seven assists in 24 games so far at a rate of one goal involvement every 141 minutes.
He’s 8/5 to score at the Mapei, and that’s value I’m more than willing to back.
