Cremonese are yet to win a game this month, but a 0-0 draw at Torino last Sunday has kept them above the Serie A relegation zone, albeit only on goal difference. On Friday (19:45 BST, live on Betfred.com), they face a trickier test, though, as they take on reigning champions Napoli, who are battling AC Milan and Juventus to finish as runners-up to Inter Milan.

Below are my Napoli vs Cremonese predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds, ahead of Friday’s fixture at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Napoli vs Cremonese Betting Tips

  • Player to Have 3 or More Shots - Federico Bonazzoli (CRE) @ 2/1
  • Player to Receive a Card - Mathias Olivera (NAP) @ 4/1

Team News

Romelu Lukaku is continuing his rehabilitation from a hip injury in Belgium, so he will sit out Friday’s contest, as will Napoli teammates David Neres (ankle), Antonio Vergara (foot) and Giovann Di Lorenzo (knee).

As for Cremonese, Jamie Vardy (muscle), Faris Moumbagna, Michele Collocolo and Morten Thorsby (all unspecified) will play no part in Naples.

Midfielder Youssef Maleh is back available, though, after serving a two-match suspension against Cagliari and Torino.

Napoli vs Cremonese Predicted Lineups

  • Napoli: Milinkovic-Savic; Beukema, Buongiorno, Olivera; Politano, Anguissa, Lobotka, Spinazzola; De Bruyne, McTominay; Hojlund
  • Cremonese: Audero; Terracciano, Baschirotto, Luperto, Pezzella; Floriani, Bondo, Grassi, Maleh; Bonazzoli, Sanabria

Napoli vs Cremonese Odds

Napoli are 1/3 to win, implying a 75% probability of success, while Cremonese are 9/1, or a 10% chance, with the draw offered at 18/5.

Napoli vs Cremonese Stats

  • Bonazzoli (CRE) is averaging 2.8 shots p/90 & 2.8 fouls won p/90 in Serie A
  • Bonnazzoli took eight of CRE's 14 shots in last Sunday's goalless draw with TOR
  • Olivera (NAP) is averaging 1.1 fouls p/90 in Serie A

Player to Have 3 or More Shots - Federico Bonazzoli (CRE) @ 2/1

Federico Bonazzoli, who is averaging 2.8 shots per 90 in this season’s Serie A, has scored twice in his last five appearances to take his 2025/26 tally to seven goals in 30 games (26 starts).

The 28-year-old is Cremonese’s leading marksman in the top flight, and his dominance in the final third is highlighted by his eight shots in last weekend’s goalless draw at Torino, where he accounted for 57% of his side’s 14 efforts.

Bonazzoli has recorded 3+ shots in four of his last seven games, including four in a 2-0 home defeat to Milan on March 1.

A trip to the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona may appear daunting, but he’s already shot four times at San Siro this season, twice each against Milan and Inter, scoring in both games, while he also registered three attempts at Lazio’s Stadio Olimpico and four at Juventus’ Allianz Stadium.

Napoli conceded 14 shots at home to Lazio last Saturday, with central striker Tijjani Noslin accounting for three, flanked by Mattia Zaccagni and Matteo Cancellieri, who both recorded two shots each (Cancellieri scored with one of his).

Player to Receive a Card - Mathias Olivera (NAP) @ 4/1

Only Cagliari's Marco Palestra (104), Lazio's Zaccagni (81) and Bologna's Nicolo Cambiaghi (69) have been fouled more times in Serie A this season than Bonazzoli (66), who is averaging 2.8 fouls won per 90.

Operating mostly on the right-hand side of Cremonese's attack, cutting in on his favoured left foot, the Italian is likely to be in close quarters with Napoli's Mathias Olivera on Friday night.

Olivera, traditionally a left-back, has been operating recently as the left-sided centre-back in a back three, owing to defensive injuries.

The Uruguay international, who is averaging 1.1 fouls per 90 in this season's Serie A, has been booked three times in 22 league appearances (13 starts), and could be forced to take alternative action to deal with the threat of Bonazzoli.
