Team News
Frank Anguissa, Kevin De Bruyne (both thigh), David Neres (ankle), Giovanni Di Lorenzo (knee), Billy Gilmour (groin), Matteo Politano (muscle) and Pasquale Mazzocchi (head) are set to sit this cup tie out for Antonio Conte's Napoli, while 10-goal midfielder Scott McTominay is a big doubt after being taken off at half-time of Saturday's 3-2 win at Genoa with a thigh problem.
Como head coach Cesc Fabregas, meanwhile, will be without Edoardo Goldaniga (heel) and Alassan Diao (thigh) for this trip to Naples.
Napoli vs Como Predicted Lineups
- Napoli: Milinkovic-Savic; Beukema, Rrahmani, Juan Jesus; Gutierrez, Lobotka, Elmas, Spinazzola; Vergara; Hojlund, Lukaku
- Como: Butez; Smolcic, Ramon, Kempf, Valle; Perrone, Da Cunha; Vojvoda, Paz, Baturina; Morata
The two sides played out a goalless draw at this venue in the league last November, and another stalemate, which would send the tie to a penalty shootout, is priced at 21/10, with Napoli and Como 6/4 and 2/1, respectively, in the Match Result market, implying win probabilities of 40% and 33.3%.
The hosts are 8/11 in the To Win Tie market, while the visitors are available at 1/1 to get to the semi-finals by any means.
Betfred's Price Boosts for this game include Both Teams To Score 2+ Goals at 7/1 (was 6/1).
Napoli vs Como Stats
- Hojlund (NAP) has registered 2+ shots on target in his last two apps (two, three)
- Paz (COM) has registered 2+ shots on target in four of his last five apps (four, three, zero, two, three)
- COM have won their last four away games (all comps)
Price Boosts - Rasmus Hojlund 2+ Shots on Target & Nicolas Paz 2+ Shots on Target @ 15/2 9/1
In November's head-to-head, Napoli striker Rasmus Hojlund registered one shot on target, while Como's Nico Paz shot four times but failed to test the goalkeeper with any of his efforts.
A week later, in another goalless draw, this time at home to Cagliari, Paz forced three saves from his four attempts, and he's registered at least one shot on target in 11 of his 15 post-Napoli appearances, two of which have been as a substitute. In seven of those, including four of his last five, he has recorded multiple shots on target.
The Argentine playmaker is averaging 1.6 shots on target per 90 minutes in Serie A this season, and in a 3-1 defeat away to Napoli last season, he hit the target with one of his four shots.
Hojlund, meanwhile, is averaging a shot on target per 90 minutes in Serie A for Napoli, and arrives at this cup tie on the back of a match-winning brace in a 3-2 victory over Genoa on Saturday, also hitting the target with his other effort in the game.
The 23-year-old Manchester United loanee hit the target twice in his previous Serie A appearance, a 2-1 win against Fiorentina on January 31, too.

Match Result - Como @ 2/1
Napoli may have won their last two games, but they were real grinds against two sides, Genoa and Fiorentina, battling relegation to Serie B, with Gli Azzurri only coming out on top by a single goal on both occasions.
Prior to those victories, Conte's charges were without a win in three (D1, L2) across all competitions and had triumphed just once in seven (D4, L2).
Como, meanwhile, have won their last four away games across all competitions, winning three consecutive league contests by a 3-0 scoreline before beating Fiorentina 3-1 in the Coppa Italia last 16.
I Lariani have already held Napoli to a goalless draw in Naples in the league this season, and now the hosts will likely have to make do without their talisman, McTominay, so I'm siding with the visitors here.
