Inter Milan currently have an eight-point cushion at the top of Serie A but their attention turns to the Coppa Italia quarter-final against Torino on Wednesday (20:00 GMT, Premier Sports 1).

Inter's February is looking hectic so boss Chivu will probably treat this match as an opportunity to rest some key personnel and hand opportunities for some of the fringe stars.

Stefan De Vrij and deputy goalkeeper Josep Martinez could therefore be named in the team for Wednesday. Denzel Dumfries (ankle), Hakan Calhanoglu (calf) and Nicolo Barella (hanstring) remain injured for the Nerazzurri.

Carlos Augusto could be in line to return after missing the weekend victory at Cremonese with a muscle issue.

Inter forward Marcus Thuram bagged a brace when Torino last visited San Siro, and he will be hoping to have a similar impact on Wednesday as he seeks his first goal in any competition in almost a month.

The French international has bagged 11 goals in 26 matches across all competitions this season. It's not a bad return but given his quality, he is a player who has the capability to be scoring more frequently.

Much has been made about him not scoring in the Uefa Champions League since matchday one in the league phase, so it seems like he is a player in need of a confidence boost.

Against a Torino side that are looking fragile at the back right now, he may get the opportunity he needs to get him back up and running.
