Team News
Genoa are still missing the injured quartet of Albert Gronbaek, Benjamin Siegrist, Maxwel Cornet and Junior Messias.
Jean Onana is heading back to the club following Cameroon's Afcon elimination, although he is unavailable for this contest.
As for Cagliari, they are without Alessandro Deiola, Andrea Belotti, Mattia Felici and Michael Folorunsho due to injury.
Genoa vs Cremonese Predicted Lineups
- Genoa: Leali; Marcandalli, Ostigard, Vazquez; Norton-Cuffy, Malinovskyi, Frendrup, Thorsby, Martin; Vitinha, Colombo
- Cagliari: Caprile; Rodriguez, Mina, Luperto; Palestra, Adopo, Prati, Mazzitelli, Obert; Esposito, Kilicsoy
Genoa are the 11/10 favourites to pick up the win on home soil, with the draw priced at 21/10 and Cagliari available at 11/4 to claim the spoils.
Both teams have scored in five of Genoa's last six Serie A matches, and it is 11/10 for that bet to land again.
Genoa vs Cagliari Stats
- GEN have drawn their last two games
- CAG have drawn two of their last four
- Luperto (CAG) has received three yellows in his last eight apps (booked in November's reverse fixture)
Draw @ 21/10
It has been a difficult season for both Genoa and Cagliari, with the pair finding themselves embroiled in a relegation battle, and a victory for either side on Monday would go a long way to help secure their top-flight status.
But wins have been hard to come by for the struggling duo, with Il Grifone failing to triumph in their last five matches and tasting success just once at home in Serie A.
It hasn't been much better for Cagliari, who have picked up just one win in their last five assignments and have won one of their last eight away matches in the league.
While picking a winner looks difficult, there could be some value in siding with a draw. Genoa have drawn their last two games and have shared the spoils in four of their 10 home Serie A contests.
As for Cagliari, they have drawn two of their last four fixtures, and their 2-2 at Cremonese on Thursday was the fourth time they have picked up a point on their travels this season.
It's also worth noting that the last three meetings between these two have ended in draws, including November's thrilling 3-3 at Unipol Domus in Sardinia

Sebastiano Luperto to be booked @ 18/5
In what could be a game devoid of attacking quality, the chances of this becoming a scrappy contest look high, and that could result in the referee brandishing some cards.
One player who could be in trouble is Cagliari defender Sebastiano Luperto, who was cautioned in November's reverse fixture and has picked up three yellows in his last eight appearances.
Luperto has made at least two fouls in his last three matches and has been pulled up by the referee at least once in nine of his last 11 matches, so he clearly likes to get stuck in.
