Bologna vs Cremonese Prediction: Home side set to continue rolling

Bologna are flying in Serie A right now and on Monday (20:00 GMT), they host Cremonese at Stadio Dall’Ara. A top-four finish seems like a real possibility for Vincenzo Italiano’s side, but they will want to push on with another three points here.

Team News
After a win over Salzburg on Thursday, Italiano is expected to use his squad depth again with Nikola Moro, Santiago Castro and Emil Holm all in line for recalls. Charalampos Lykogiannis is back after suspension and Lorenzo De Silvestri is also available having not been included in the Uefa squad list.
Captain Remo Freuler remains out with goalkeeper Lukasz Skorupski, but Ciro Immobile and Jonathan Rowe should be fit to feature on the bench.
Jamie Vardy is set to start up front for Cremonese once more, and he should be joined by top-scorer Federico Bonazzoli, who has four goals this campaign. Maikayil Faye has a sprained ankle and is out along with Michele Collocolo and Faris Moumbagna, but Alessio Zerbin is almost ready to return to the squad, along with Alberto Grassi.

Bologna vs Cremonese Stats
- Bologna are unbeaten in 12 in all competitions
- The hosts are nine undefeated in the league
- Riccardo Orsolini is the joint-top goalscorer in Serie A (5)
Bologna to win with -1 handicap @ 13/10
Bologna are so good right now. They are absolutely flying, unbeaten in 12 in all competitions and they have won their last three league matches, including a 2-0 success over champions Napoli.
Now fifth in the league, they are just four points off top spot, but the target has to be breaking into those Champions League spots. Having won the Coppa Italia last season, they have carried that momentum into this season and now they are on a run of nine undefeated in the league, with six wins and three draws since an early-season defeat to AC Milan. This should be comfortable against a Cremonense side who sit 12th, but have lost their last three.

Riccardo Orsolini to score anytime @ 13/10
Remarkably the top scorer in Serie A this season only has five goals. Bologna’s star striker Orsolini is one of five players with that number in Serie A, and he added the fourth goal on Thursday night in that Europa League win over RB Salzburg.
That took him to seven in all competitions, and although those aren’t Erling Haaland-esque numbers, he is still the most likely scorer for the home side, especially given Immobile is return to fitness. More positive news, he found the net when these two teams met in 2023, so let’s back him to score against during this one.
