San siro inter ac milan scaled

The rearranged Serie A matchday 24 fixture between AC Milan and Como at San Siro takes place on Wednesday (19:45 GMT, live on Betfred.com), with the second-placed hosts looking to reduce the eight-point gap their neighbours, Inter, have built up in the race for the Scudetto. The visitors, meanwhile, are looking to continue their push for European football, and a positive result in Milan would see them leapfrog Atalanta into sixth.

Below are my AC Milan vs Como predictions, supported by all the latest team news and match odds.

AC Milan vs Como Betting Tips

  • Player to Receive a Card - Nico Paz (COM) @ 4/1

Team News

Adrien Rabiot is serving a one-game suspension following his late dismissal for two quickfire yellow cards in AC Milan's 2-1 win at Pisa last Friday.

Santiago Gimenez, meanwhile, is still in the treatment room with an ankle injury, but Alexis Saelemaekers, who has missed I Rossoneri's last couple of games with an adductor problem, could return on Wednesday.

Football Odds

Como have a suspended player of their own, former AC Milan striker Alvaro Morata, who was dismissed in I Lariani's 2-1 home defeat to Fiorentina last Saturday.

Edoardo Goldaniga (heel) and Assane Diao (thigh) remain sidelined with injuries.

AC Milan vs Como Predicted Lineups

  • AC Milan: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic; Athekame, Fofana, Modric, Ricci, Bartesaghi; Loftus-Cheek; Nkunku
  • Como: Butez; Smolcic, Ramon, Kempf, Valle; Perrone, Da Cunha; Vojvoda, Paz, Baturina; Douvikas

AC Milan vs Como Odds

AC Milan, who won last season's corresponding fixture 2-1 and January's reverse meeting 3-1, are 11/8 to make it three wins from three games this month, while Como, who have failed to triumph in regulation time of any of their three February matches so far, are 21/10, or a 32.3% chance, to claim all three points.

The draw is offered at 11/5, both teams to score at 4/5, and over 2.5 total goals at 11/10.

Betfred are offering three Price Boosts, including Rafael Leao To Score and Assist at 20/1 (was 16/1).

AC Milan vs Como Stats

  • Paz (COM) was booked in last season's corresponding fixture
  • MIL are unbeaten in Serie A since MD1 (W15, D8)
  • COM have failed to win any of their last three games in regulation time (all comps)

Player to Receive a Card - Nico Paz (COM) @ 4/1

Nico Paz has established himself as one of the best No. 10's in Serie A since swapping Real Madrid for Como in the summer of 2024, but it's not just his goals and assists that have made him stand out in Italy.

The 21-year-old is a tenacious presence on the pitch, highlighted by his 1.8 fouls per game average this season.

Paz was booked six times in 35 league appearances (30 starts) last season, and he's already earned four yellow cards in 24 competition outings (23 starts) this term, his most recent one coming in the 3-1 victory at Fiorentina on January 27.

Today's Football Fixtures

The Argentina international appears especially fired up for the big games; in last season's corresponding fixture against Milan, he committed a foul in the 44th minute and was booked for dissent in the 90th, while he's also been shown yellows against Napoli (2024/25), Lazio and AS Roma (both 2025/26).

At 4/1, Paz is a nice price to go into the book on Wednesday.

Double Chance & Both Teams To Score - AC Milan or Draw & Yes @ 7/5

Milan have lost just one league game all season, and that was at home to Cremonese (1-2) on matchday one.

Since that August 23 defeat, I Rossoneri have gone 23 games unbeaten in Serie A, winning 15 times.

Backing Massimiliano Allegri's side and 'Yes' in the Double Chance & Both Teams To Score market has been a winning selection five times at San Siro this season, and five times in their last seven matches, home and away.

Como, meanwhile, are winless in their last three games - in regulation time - across all competitions, and they were beaten 2-1 at home by Fiorentina on Saturday.

Admittedly, Cesc Fabregas' charges have won their last matches on the road in Serie A, all by a 3-0 scoreline, but all three sides, Lecce, Pisa and Lazio, were below them in the table.

Milan at San Siro is an entirely different proposition, and while I fancy Como to get on the scoresheet, a victory looks beyond them.
