Welcome to February and another Scottish football weekend accumulator. Betfred’s Frank Monkhouse provides his best from week 24 in the top flight, opting for three away wins...

Scottish Football Accumulator Tips:

  • Back Celtic to beat Aberdeen @ 4/11
  • Back Hearts to beat Dundee @ 20/23
  • Back St Johnstone to beat Ross County @ 9/4
  • Treble Odds - 8.52/1

Celtic beat Aberdeen @ 4/11

We get things moving with the early kick-off at Pittodrie, where Aberdeen host Celtic. The Bhoys enter on top of the league, but fans remain unconvinced by manager Brendan Rodgers and the board. It’s a far cry from the confidence felt under previous boss Ange Postecoglou. Still, the Bhoys sit in pole position, enjoy a cushion over the chasing pack, and an extended unbeaten run.

Aberdeen holds the home advantage for this early afternoon start but is stuck in mid-table and knows their chances of securing a European finish are fading fast. The Dons lost 3-1 when hosting Celtic earlier in the season and 6-0 when visiting Glasgow. Let’s take another convincing win for the champions in the Granite City.

Hearts beat Dundee @ 23/20

This is a great chance to back one of the form teams in the Scottish Premiership at a decent price. Hearts travel to Dens Park, where they’ll face a Dundee side pushing for a top-six finish but lacking the consistency needed to worry the prize places. They lost 3-2 at Tynecastle just a few weeks ago, and although we expect another competitive encounter, Hearts look value to win again.

The Jambos travel for this game as the favourites to hold their position and finish as the best of the rest behind the Old Firm. The side from Edinburgh enjoys a long unbeaten run and has taken nine points from their last three games. Confidence is key to victory here, and we’ll take Hearts to leave the City of Discovery with all three points.

St Johnstone beat Ross County @ 9/4

We wrap up the treble with a bet on St Johnstone to beat Ross County in Dingwall. The Saints haven’t been kind to followers of our Scottish football accumulators in recent times, but they’re a work in progress for manager Craig Levein. The former Scotland boss is tasked with keeping his employers in the Premiership, and he’s experienced enough to do just that. St Johnstone beat Ross County 1-0 at McDiarmid Park in November, and we’re hoping for another narrow victory in what’s sure to be a competitive 90 minutes.

Ross County is stuck in the relegation zone following a woeful run of results. The Staggies have only Livingston beneath them in the pecking order and an improving St Johnstone one place higher. If the Saints do as expected and win on the road, they’ll open a gap between themselves and County in the danger zone.
