Scottish Football Accumulator Tips: Chance an 11/1 Christmas Cracker this Saturday

It’s the final weekend of football action before Christmas and another chance to boost our coffers with a Scottish football accumulator.

Betfred’s Frank Monkhouse suggests four teams worth backing in the Premiership and Championship, paying £123.77 for a £10 stake…

Scottish Football Accumulator Tips:

  • Back Hearts to beat St Mirren @ 9/10
  • Back Kilmarnock to beat St Johnstone @ 4/7
  • Back Hibs to beat Ross County @ 7/5
  • Back Partick to beat Inverness @ 8/11
  • Overall Odds - 13/1

Hearts beat St Mirren @ 9/10

We open our weekend accumulator with a fantastic game from the capital involving third-placed Hearts and fourth-placed St Mirren. The Jambos enjoy home advantage and boast the better recent form of the clubs involved, winning three of their last five, while St Mirren has one win in the same period.

Hearts are the obvious pick as they aim to pull clear of the chasing pack and deliver a blow to a major rival in the race for a bronze medal finish behind the Old Firm. The 9/10 available on the locals is much higher than we expected to find, and Hearts provides a value play to help get things moving this weekend.

Kilmarnock beat St Johnstone @ 4/7

There will be a special atmosphere inside Rugby Park as Kilmarnock push for a vital pre-Christmas home win and three points. The locals climbed to fifth in the league following an impressive three-game unbeaten treble, which saw them bank seven of nine points available. Killie has a great chance to pile pressure on the European places.

The locals enjoyed eye-catching wins over Aberdeen and Celtic but were then held to a goalless finish at Almondvale by bottom club Livingston. We’re backing them to defeat a St Johnstone side playing its second game this week following Wednesday’s trip to Ibrox, and although we’ll require our share of luck, the odds look about right for a bet.

Hibs beat Ross County @ 7/5

The sole away win in our weekend accumulator sees us support Hibs at Ross County. The capital city club arrives in town aware Dingwall is no ‘gimme’ three points, and they’ll be pushed hard by a determined host. But we fancy the Hibees to snatch what could be an important win in the race for a European finish.

Hibs endured a slow start to the season but are improving as they climb the charts. The visitors are in the top six and have won three of their last five in this competition. They did suffer a surprise defeat last time, but that would’ve helped refocus the club ahead of a big game at the Staggies. The 7/5 price is much more generous than we expected, and we happily add Hibs to our Saturday fourfold.

Partick beat Inverness @ 8/11

We wrap up our Christmas Saturday accumulator by backing Partick to beat Inverness in the battle of the thistles. The Scottish Championship is a fiercely competitive league of ten teams, with four clubs in the running for promotion to the Premiership and two battling to avoid relegation to League One. There are no margins for error at this level.

Following four wins from five games, Partick Thistle climbed to third in the table. They were last seen beating Dunfermline 2-1 on the road. Saturday’s opponents Inverness arrive in Glasgow having lost three of their last four and each of their last two. We’re backing The Jags to grab a useful three points at a handy price.
