Ross County host Motherwell in the final round of Premiership fixtures on Sunday and only a win will do for the hosts.

The Staggies are two points adrift of Dundee in the final safe spot and only a victory will give them a chance of avoiding a third consecutive appearance in the relegation play-off.

Both of these teams are dealing with a number of injury issues as Ross Laidlaw, Aidan Denholm, Noah Chilvers, Ryan Leak and Scott Allardice are among those who will miss out for Ross County.

Motherwell boss Michael Wimmer is without Apostolos Stamatelopoulos, Archie Mair, Jack Vale, Kofi Balmer, Paul McGinn, Ross Callachan, Liam Gordon, Sam Nicholson, Shane Blaney and Zach Robinson.

The Staggies have only won nine Premiership games this season but two of those successes came against the Well, while they are unbeaten in three meetings with Sunday’s opponents this term, collecting seven points from a possible nine.

The Steelmen are the team in the better form with three wins in their last four games but this is essentially a dead-rubber for the visitors, aside from the chance to finish at the top of the relegation group.
