Team News
Romania's star players include defender Radu Dragusin (Tottenham Hotspur), midfielder and captain Nicolae Stanciu (Damac), and forward Denis Alibec.
Bulgaria, meanwhile, could hand a start to Dimitar Mitov (St Johnstone) in goal, while there is Leeds United representation in their ranks through midfielder Ilia Gruev.
PAOK attacker Kiril Despodov is the highest-scoring player in the current squad with 13 international goals in 47 caps.

The hosts are 3/5 to be victorious on Tuesday, giving them an implied win probability of 62.5%, while the visitors are 5/1, or a 16.7% chance.
The draw can be backed at 11/4, both teams to score at 1/1, and over 2.5 goals at 1/1.
Romania to win to nil @ 7/5
Romania topped a qualification group containing Switzerland and Israel to make sure of their place in Euro 2024, and before a 3-2 defeat to Colombia in Madrid on March 26, had enjoyed a 12-game unbeaten run, keeping a clean sheet in seven of them, five of which they also won.
Switzerland and Kosovo were among the sides they shut out in Bucharest, and they will be confident of adding Bulgaria to the list given Tuesday's visitors to the capital blanked in five matches last year, failing to find a way past any of Albania (A), Lithuania (H), Iran (H), Hungary (A) and Montenegro (H).
Bulgaria are unbeaten in their last four games, drawing to Hungary (2-2), Serbia (2-2) and Azerbaijan (1-1), as well as beating Tanzania (1-0), but there were mitigating factors in a couple of them.
Serbia only needed a point in a behind-closed-doors encounter in Leskovac to qualify for the finals this summer, while Hungary were also happy to settle for a stalemate to book their own place in Germany.
Romania don't need to play for a win on Tuesday either, but they will want to produce an encouraging performance and grab a win to build some confidence heading into the summer tournament.
It may not be a thrilling contest in the Romanian capital, but the Tricolorii should get through it without any serious threat to their goal.
Denis Alibec anytime goalscorer @ 9/5
The Muaither SC forward was Romania's joint-top scorer in qualifying alongside Valentin Mihaila (both three goals), with one of his strikes proving to be the winner against Switzerland in Bucharest to seal top spot for his nation.
However, Alibec hasn't played a competitive match since Muaither's 4-3 defeat to Al-Wakra in the last 16 of the Emir Cup on May 9, and desperately needs game time to get up to speed before Romania's first Euro 2024 fixture with Ukraine on June 17.
The 33-year-old did score in both of his last two starts for his Qatari club side, bagging a brace against Al-Wakra, and should be handed the chance to prove himself from the start on Tuesday.
Romania do tend to spread their goals around, but if there's one individual to back to find the net it's Alibec, who scored three of his five international goals so far in 2023.
