Roma vs Como Prediction: Ferguson to get Roma back on track

Roma cruised to a 3-0 win over Celtic in the Europa League on Thursday, but they return to Serie A action having lost their previous two league games.
The Giallorossi have slipped off the pace at the top thanks to narrow defeats to Napoli and Cagliari. Monday's encounter with sixth-placed Como is another big test, but the visitors' poor away form could make all the difference. Below you can find my Roma vs Como predictions.

Team News
Evan Ndicka is expected to feature for the final time this year for Roma, ahead of his departure for the African Cup of Nations. The hosts should revert to their strongest side after making a string of changes at Celtic Park.
Como are missing Maximo Perrone through suspension, while the visitors will also be without Alvaro Morata, Sergi Roberto, and Edoardo Goldaniga.
Roma vs Como Predicted Lineups
- Roma - Svilar; Mancini, Ndicka, Hermoso; Wesley, Kone, Cristante, Tsimikas; Soule, Pellegrini; Dybala
- Como - Butez; Smolcic, Ramon, Carlos, Valle; Da Cunha, Caqueret; Addai, Paz, Rodriguez; Douvikas
Roma are priced at 11/10 for the home win, while Como are 13/5 to pull off an away success with the draw at 11/5. Goals are expected to be at a premium, with under 2.5 priced at 4/6.
Only three of Roma's 14 league games this term have featured both teams scoring, while Como have failed to score in four of their seven away trips. Despite that, you can oppose both teams to score at 4/5.
Roma to win @ 11/10
Roma's morale-boosting European win marks them out ahead of this clash, especially given Como's comprehensive defeat last weekend.
Cesc Fabregas's side were thumped 4-0 at Inter Milan, ending a good spell which lifted them into European contention.
While Como have made steps forward following another summer of investment, they have struggled in Serie A's biggest tests. They've suffered defeats at Inter and fifth-placed Bologna this season, while they drew 0-0 at a vulnerable Napoli side.
Roma have won nine of their first 14 league games, while three of their five defeats have come against the three sides above them. Given Como's patchy scoring record on the road, a Roma side with the best defensive record in Serie A should be backed to come out on top.

Roma to win 2-0 and Evan Ferguson to score first @ 40/1
Roma's appointment of Gian Piero Gasperini was expected to bring thrills, along with his proven track record of improving strikers. That hasn't quite panned out, as Roma's first 14 games have featured a total of 23 goals.
However, Thursday's victory in Glasgow did see Evan Ferguson impress, as the Brighton loanee scored twice in the victory. The Irishman said Gasperini was a key motivating factor in his move to Italy, and the Roma boss could finally be getting the best out of him.
Ferguson has tended to go on scoring streaks in his career, so he's one to look at in the goalscorer markets. Given Roma have only once notched more than two goals in a league game this term, back Ferguson to open the scoring in a routine 2-0 victory for the Giallorossi.
