A crucial encounter in Group G of the Champions League takes place at the Rajko Mitic Stadium on Tuesday evening, when Red Star play host to Leipzig.

Leipzig have six points from their first three matches to sit second in the pool, five points ahead of both Young Boys (third) and Red Star (fourth).

Red Star vs Leipzig Tips

  • Red Star to win @ 4/1
  • Osman Bukari to score anytime @ 16/5

Match Odds

Red Star are the 4/1 outsiders to pick up their first Champions League win of the season, with the draw priced at 16/5 and Leipzig 1/2 favourites.

Leipzig have lost their last two matches without scoring and it is 10/1 for the hosts to consign their German opponents to a third-straight defeat without finding the back of the net.

Over 3.5 goals have landed in all three of Red Star’s Group G matches and it is 11/8 for this same bet to come in again.

Team News

Aleksandar Katai missed Red Star’s victory at the weekend with a stomach bug and is a doubt for this contest, while Filippo Falco is also struggling with an unspecified knock.

Leipzig are without Dani Olmo, who is set to be out for the rest of the year with a shoulder problem, while Willi Orban and El Chadaille Bitshiabu are both unavailable due to knee injuries.

Red Star to win @ 4/1

This is pretty much a must-win game for Red Star, who find themselves five points behind Leipzig and would be unable to qualify for the next round if they lose on home soil.

Although a draw would keep their qualifying hopes alive, it is not really enough for the Serb giants given the gap to the top two and that means they will be going all out for the win on Tuesday.

Red Star’s home record gives them hope heading into this contest, as they are unbeaten at the Rajko Mitic Stadium in their last 25 competitive matches and last tasted defeat in their own backyard when losing 1-0 to Monaco in September 2022.

Barak Bakhar’s side are also unbeaten in their last six home Champions League matches, winning three and drawing three, and they look overpriced to claim the spoils here.

Visitors Leipzig have hit a bump in the road of late, losing their last two games without scoring, and they are struggling to click into gear.

Osman Bukari to score anytime @ 16/5

There will be plenty of attacking talent on show for both teams, but the 16/5 available on Red Star winger Osman Bukari to get on the scoresheet is hard to ignore.

He scored in the Matchday 1 defeat to Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium, before notching in the 2-2 home draw against Young Boys.

The Ghana international has also netted three times in the league this season and he can add to his tally against a Leipzig side who have kept just one clean sheet from their last six away assignments.
