The fourth and final 2025 Fifa Club World Cup quarter-final tie takes place on Saturday (21:00 BST, Channel 5/DAZN/Betfred), and is a re-run of last year's Uefa Champions League Final, between Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund, which was won 2-0 by the Spanish side.

Below are my Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund Bet Builder Tips, as the teams meet for a second time this season, following Los Blancos' 5-2 victory over the Germans in the league phase of the Champions League last October. The final-eight contest takes place at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey.

Match Result - Real Madrid

Dortmund gave their Spanish counterparts an almighty scare at the Santiago Bernabeu earlier this season, taking a two-goal lead into half-time thanks to a strike apiece from Donyell Malen and Jamie Gittens.

However, the La Liga side, then-coached by Carlo Ancelotti, who has since been replaced at the helm by Xabi Alonso, staged a second-half comeback, with Vinicius Jr. firing a hat-trick to help his team to a 5-2 win.

It was their fourth victory in a row over Dortmund, who haven't beaten Los Blancos since April 2014, when Jurgen Klopp masterminded a 2-0 success.

Football Odds

It's been a difficult season for BVB, who finished fourth in the Bundesliga, only two points ahead of fifth-placed Freiburg, and 25 points behind the champions, Bayern Munich.

Nuri Sahin was sacked as head coach in January, replaced by Niko Kovac, who steered Dortmund to the Champions League quarter-finals, where they exited to FC Barcelona, and secured their spot in next season's competition.

However, the Croatian hasn't exactly set the world alight, and despite Dortmund topping Group F at the Club World Cup, they've not been overly convincing. They were second-best in a goalless draw with Fluminense and only beat Mamelodi Sundowns (4-3) and Ulsan Hyundai (1-0) by one goal in their final two group games. Then, in the last 16, they edged past Monterrey (2-1), and have yet to be truly tested by a top club.

Their next opponents, Real Madrid, got off to a slow start in the USA, drawing 1-1 with Al Hilal in Alonso's first match in charge, but then beat Pachuca 3-1, despite going down to 10 men in the seventh minute, and eased past Red Bull Salzburg 3-0, to claim top spot in Group H and set up a last-16 tie with Juventus, who they overcame 1-0 without any real issues.

Dortmund could give Real Madrid a fright or two in East Rutherford, with Serhou Guirassy surely in a more confident mood after his brace against Monterrey, but they're without the suspended Jobe Bellingham, who misses out on a first-ever game against his older brother, Jude, and his absence will be keenly felt on Saturday.

A Real Madrid win, for me, to kick off this Bet Builder.

Player to Score at Anytime - Jude Bellingham (RMA)

Talking of Jude, I fancy him to score against his former club for the first time, having blanked in the 2024 Champions League Final and the league phase match in the same competition earlier this season.

The 22-year-old scored 23 goals in a superb debut campaign for Real Madrid in 2023/24, and while he's failed to scale those heights again, his first strike at this year's Club World Cup, in the victory over Pachuca, made it 15 this term for Los Blancos.

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund Odds

Bellingham wasn't able to add to his tally against Juventus, but he did record three shots, seeing his first two efforts saved by Italian goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

With Antonio Rudiger, Aurelien Tchouameni and Dean Huijsen sweeping up behind him, the England international can make his trademark forward forays, arriving late into the box, and cause problems for his old side.

Real Madrid vs Borussia Dortmund Bet Builder Stats

  • Real Madrid have won the last four H2Hs (beat Dortmund 5-2 in October 2024)
  • Jude Bellingham (RMA) scored his 15th club goal of the season against Pachuca on June 22
  • Federico Valverde (RMA) registered four shots on target against Juventus (averaging two per game at CWC)
  • Felix Nmecha (DOR) is averaging 1.2 shots per game at CWC

Federico Valverde (RMA) Total Shots on Target - 2+

As ever, Federico Valverde is proving to be one of Real Madrid's most important players, starring at the Club World Cup so far.

The 26-year-old has scored twice in the USA, netting in group-stage victories over Pachuca and Salzburg, and averaging two shots on target per game.

Valverde saw two efforts saved against Al Hilal, scored against Pachuca and Salzburg, before having four shots thwarted by Di Gregorio against Juventus - two inside the penalty area, and two from long range.

The Uruguay international is a threat from any distance, and he is more than capable of registering another couple of shots on target this Saturday, posing Gregor Kobel all sorts of problems between the Dortmund sticks.

Felix Nmecha (DOR) Total Shots - 1+

I'll end this Bet Builder with a Dortmund player, Felix Nmecha, and back the Manchester City Academy graduate to shoot at least once against Real Madrid.

The 24-year-old didn't start his side's opening match at the tournament, coming on in the 59th minute against Fluminense for Karim Adeyemi, but saw an effort saved 16 minutes later.

Today's Football Fixtures

Nmecha has started all three games since, scoring against Sundowns and seeing three shots miss the target against Ulsan, before failing to record an attempt at goal against Monterrey prior to his 71st-minute withdrawal.

The Germany international is averaging 1.2 shots per game at the Club World Cup, up from his 0.7 per game average in this season's Bundesliga, a competition in which he ended the campaign by recording 11 shots across his final five matches, only failing to try his luck in the 4-2 defeat to Bayer Leverkusen on May 11, when he was taken off at half-time.
