Real Betis vs Leganes Prediction: Home advantage to work for Betis

With the international break in the rearview mirror, the top European leagues make a return this weekend and La Liga restarts with Real Betis against Leganes at the Benito Villamarin on Friday.
Betis have made a slow start to the season, failing to win any of their opening three matches, whereas Leganes, who gained promotion from the Segunda Division last term, are in ninth spot. Read on for my Real Betis vs Leganes prediction, as well as the latest team news and match odds.
Real Betis vs Leganes Betting Tips
Team News
The injuries have stacked up for Betis, who will be without Marc Roca, Juanmi, Marc Bartra, Nobel Mendy, Cedric Bakambu and Isco.
Giovani Lo Celso could feature on the flank after Rodri moved to Qatar.
Leganes will be without midfielder Renato Tapia, who is out with a muscular issue.
Real Betis are 8/11 (57.9% chance) to win this contest, while Leganes are 9/2 to come out on top. The draw is priced at 5/2.
Both teams to score is 11/10, while over 2.5 goals is available at 5/4.
Real Betis to win and under 3.5 goals @ 11/10
After guiding the Andalusians to a seventh-place finish in La Liga last term, Manuel Pellegrini will not be pleased with how the season has started for Betis.
They opened the season with successive draws against Girona and Alaves before a 2-0 defeat to Real Madrid heading into the international break, putting them on the back foot early on.
But a defeat to Real is hardly a disgrace and they dominated in their stalemate with Alaves.
It is also worth noting Betis eased to 2-0 and 3-0 wins over Kryvbas in the Europa Conference League playoffs and they are capable of recording maximum points on Friday.
Injuries have held them back this term, but they have the quality to see off newly promoted Leganes, who have had a soft start to the season with matches against Las Palmas, Real Valladolid and Mallorca.
Betis are a quality outfit who made the European places last term and they can win this match, although their opening three games have featured just four goals.
With that in mind, a bet on Real Betis to win and under 3.5 goals could be the way to go at 11/10.

Abde Ezzalzouli to score at any time @ 12/5
Aitor Ruibal has been tasked with leading the Real Betis line so far this season, but the Spanish forward has struggled to make an impact.
And the goalscorer markets could be worth delving into for this fixture, with Betis winger Abde Ezzalzouli an appealing price to score at any time.
Ezzalzouli recently bagged a first-half brace in the Europa Conference League play-offs second leg against Kryvbas and he was among his team's leading goalscorers in all competitions last term with five strikes.
His pace and trickery down the flank can be a handful and he is worth monitoring on Friday.
