Chelsea booked their place in next season's Uefa Champions League with a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest in the Premier League on Sunday. However, another big game awaits the Blues on Wednesday night (20:00, TNT Sports 1/TNT Sports Ultimate), as they take on Spanish side Real Betis in the Uefa Conference League Final.

Below are my Real Betis vs Chelsea Bet Builder Tips ahead of this midweek meeting at Wroclaw Stadium in Poland. We also have an amazing bet builder offer for this game, where if you wager £10, you can receive up to £10 in free bets!

Both Teams to Score - Yes

The first-ever Conference League final, contested by AS Roma and Feyenoord in May 2022, saw just a single goal scored as the Italian club edged out the Dutch side 1-0 in Tirana, Albania. The following year, West Ham United beat Fiorentina 2-1 in Prague, Czech Republic, but it was another tight one in 2024 as Olympiakos and Fiorentina played out a goalless draw in regulation time before the Greek giants struck the winner in extra time.

That means BTTS - No has been a winner in two out of three Conference League finals so far, and while such occasions can usually result in sterile encounters, I think Real Betis and Chelsea are two teams that can serve up some entertainment.

The Blues have scored 38 goals in the tournament (excluding qualifiers) so far, netting in all 12 games. They only conceded nine times, but when you consider the level of some of their opponents - Noah, Astana and Shamrock Rovers, for example - that defensive record suddenly isn't so impressive.

Both teams scored in four of their six league phase matches and three of their six knockout round games.

Betis, meanwhile, have scored 22 times in 14 Conference League outings (excluding qualifiers), only failing to find the net in two matches. They've conceded 11 goals in the competition, with BTTS - Yes landing seven times.

Both teams have scored in 17 of Betis' last 20 matches across all competitions, including their last 11, so I'm confident in backing the Spanish side and their English counterparts to notch in Wednesday's final.

Football Odds

Antony Santos (BET) Total Shots - 2+

Manchester United loanee Antony has enjoyed a productive spell in Spain, scoring nine goals in 25 appearances for Manuel Pellegrini's side.

The Brazilian has rediscovered his form with Los Verdiblancos and looks unrecognisable from the player who stunk out the Premier League with the Red Devils.

Antony has been getting shots away for fun with Betis, averaging 2.5 per 90 game in La Liga and three per game in the Conference League. The 25-year-old has recorded at least two shots in six of his eight competition outings, hitting seven (six in regulation time, one in extra time) at Fiorentina in the second leg of Betis' semi-final tie earlier this month.

Chelsea conceded 28 shots across their semi-final tie against Djurgarden, and 21 over two legs in their quarter-final tie with Legia Warsaw, so taking two shots on Wednesday is well within reach for Antony, who faced the Blues twice in the Premier League last season and registered seven attempts at goal (four at Old Trafford, three at Stamford Bridge).

Real Betis vs Chelsea Stats

  • Both teams have scored in 17 of Betis' last 20 games
  • Antony (BET) is averaging three shots per game in this season's Conference League
  • Marc Cucurella (CHE) is averaging a shot per game in 24/25 Conference League
  • Moises Caicedo (CHE) has been carded 13 times this season

Marc Cucurella (CHE) Total Shots - 1+

Chelsea left-back Marc Cucurella has been one of Enzo Maresca's leading lights in 2024/25, netting seven times in 47 appearances.

The 26-year-old has scored twice in the Conference League, a competition in which he is averaging a shot per game, despite three of his games coming as a substitute. Cucurella recorded 1+ attempts in both of Chelsea's quarter-final matches against Legia and in both of their semi-final contests against Djugarden.

The Spaniard's Premier League shots per game average for the season stands at 0.7, and he tried his luck in five of his last seven league outings.

Betis were breached twice by Fiorentina left wing-back Robin Gosens in their semi-final second leg in Florence earlier this month, with the German shooting five times in total. Gosens also shot twice in the first leg, so I'm confident Cucurella can produce at least one effort in Wroclaw.

Real Betis vs Chelsea Odds

Player Shown Any Card - Moises Caicedo (CHE)

Blues midfielder Moises Caicedo concludes this Bet Builder, but for more negative reasons, as I'm backing him to be carded in Poland.

The Ecuadorian was booked 14 times in his debut campaign for Chelsea in 2023/24, and he's one off that total this term with one match left to play. He's only been carded once in Europe this season, but he's made just three competition appearances, with Maresca utilising his squad earlier in the competition before bringing a few of the 'big boys' in for the latter stages.

Caicedo has only started twice in the Conference League, but it was as a second-half substitute against Djurgarden in Sweden that he was shown a yellow for remonstrating with the referee.

The 23-year-old has committed two fouls in each of his last two competition outings, and on Wednesday, he could be in close contact with a few players who know how to draw fouls.

Betis playmaker Isco is averaging 1.2 fouls won per game in the Conference League this season, and two other attackers - Antony (1.2) and Abdessamas Ezzalzouli (1.3) - also average over one a game.
