Rayo Vallecano vs Las Palmas Predictions
Rayo Vallecano vs Las Palmas Odds
Rayo are favourites for the victory at 4/5, while the draw is priced at 5/2. Las Palmas are available at 18/5.
Both teams to score is priced at 1/1, while odds of 11/10 are available for over 2.5 goals.
Team News
The hosts are missing Diego Mendez and Alfonso Espino due to injuries, while Abdul Mumin and Unai Lopez are serving suspensions. After shuffling the pack for their midweek cup clash with Villamuriel, Rayo should revert back to their strongest side.
Las Palmas are missing injured trio Jasper Cillessen, Enzo Loiodice and Adnan Januzaj. They’ll hand a start to backup keeper Dinko Horkas in Cillessen’s absence.
Rayo Vallecano to win and both teams to score @ 16/5
Las Palmas have particularly struggled on their travels this season, losing five of their first six trips in La Liga. The visitors lost 2-0 at Atletico Madrid in their last away outing, but they’ve also been dealt losses in visits to bottom-half sides like Alaves and Leganes.
Rayo will look to prey on the visitors’ issues, as they’ve met just two sides below them at home this season. They’ve beaten Alaves and drawn with Leganes, while they’ve also won against Osasuna, held Atletico and lost narrowly to leaders Barcelona.
The visitors enter the weekend having lost five of their seven clashes with teams in the top 10, although they have scored in four of their six trips. With Rayo managing only one clean sheet at their own ground, take them to win and concede.
The visitors have conceded twice in each of their away games so far, so Rayo to win 2-1 at 15/2 also appeals.
Odds correct at time of publishing.
Bet Builder - Alejandro Munoz and Oscar Valentin Martin Luengo to be carded @ 17/2
This clash features two players who are fouling regularly without punishment, despite a considerable track record of cautions.
Munoz is averaging close to two fouls per game, having made more than any other Las Palmas player.
Despite that, he has yet to see a card this term. The full-back was booked nine times for Levante in the second tier last season and eight times in the campaign before.
Valentin is in a similar position, having accumulated 39 bookings across his last four seasons with Rayo.
Despite making 23 fouls this season - eight more than any other Vallecano player - he is yet to receive a card.
The pair should end up in the book sooner rather than later and they’re each worth considering for a Bet Builder.
